You will not go from One Rupee to a Trillionaire – if you ignore the letter “E”.

Dear Fellow Travelers,

Namaste! Our post on letter B was super hit. I got words of praise from the readers. However, the root question comes - why people are not focusing on B? To focus on B and to expand B or to strengthen B is common sense but somehow people have not done that. Why?

The Focus on B is not there because we have ignored the most commonly seen letter E. Starting from a word – ONE – E is available in plenty till you reach to Billionaire or Trillionaire. So, E is unique in this way. Whether you are a ONE or you are a TRILLIONAIRE - you can’t go ahead without E.

What is “E”?

For me, E is for Energy. Energy can come from various sources. The more advance and purer is the source of your energy – your progress will be very fast in your respective area.

Energy comes from Eating / Exercise / Education / Emotions / Exploration and Experience.

The people who are not using “E” in the above areas – they follow the B of Belief. They believe in whatever you tell them if it meets their immediate goals. It’s like a Beggar who tells you that you are God when you give him donations. Beggar knows that you are not a God, but he also knows that if he doesn’t tell you that you are God, you will not give him a donation. You also know that you are not God, but you feel good when he tells you God and you give him something. So, if you are not using your E properly – you are moving ahead with B for Belief.

Let us see three E in detail.

Eating and Exercise: -

I don’t think, I can add anything to this. All are aware of the importance of proper diet and balancing exercise to keep the body fit and healthy. Both are related to keeping your body healthy for a long time.

Education: -

There is a typical attitude amongst Indian people when it comes to Education. They are ready to spend lakhs on their KG kids and Crores for donations to Medical seats or sending their kids abroad. They will take loans to pay for the kid’s education.

But for any other kind of education – they are not ready. Typically educated Indians lack general exposure to other areas of life or other areas of their field. When they go to market after study – they have very sallow ideas of the world. So, they are not ready to face the world with their kind of education alone.

Holistic education is the main source of holistic thought process and progressive mind.

So, this deals with your Mind.  

Emotions: -

After Body and Mind, the most important and ignored E is Emotions. In COVID times the lack of Empathy and Emotions towards the fellow human being was seen in terms of hiking the prices of eatables and medicines by a selected group of people.

This is the most affected E in today’s time and people are rushing towards Psychologists to repair themselves.

Exploration + Experiences: -

Ideally, a student should be allowed to explore what he or she has learned in school with an open mind and without any strings attached. This is done with a select class of students and people. Education not backed up by Exploration will not lead to Experiences with Convictions.

Major opportunities of life are missed due to the missing of the above two E.

Many times, I have heard investors that they know that the market will move up or particular shares will hit the roof. But when you ask – How much money you invested? The answer is not much or not at all.

So, Education was there. They knew what is good. But they lacked the conviction to buy those shares in tons or invest when the market was to take a “U” Turn.

Conviction is the direct result of exploration. If you have not explored with an open mind – you will not experience with an open mind. You will be full of your beliefs and other biases.

How “E” affects you?

E is all-pervasive as seen above. If you have ignored E in any of the above areas – you will not go very far in your life. If at all you go, you will not be able to stick to that place. You may or may not get to B or A, but if you lack an E, you will not be able to live a normal life also.

So, invest your Energy in E as fast as you can. The more you invest in E - your Base will be strong. Stronger the Base - stronger the building of your career and financial success.
