Only One Quality that can take you to the top and keep you there forever

Dear Fellow Travelers,

Namaste! Our post on – 7 Habits of Highly Miserable People have been super hit. Many messages of appreciation and likes are following. Thanks a ton for being a regular reader. Reading all the posts and all the strategies –readers are getting confused. They asked me to give them only one quality, if they can develop, they can become successful and happy. So, I am sharing the same today. But let us know what is the ultimate goal of each human being.

The Ultimate Goal of each person: -

I have invested 30 years in dealing with individuals thanks to my area of working in investment and astrology. I am very close to their inner psychology and deep-down motives. Behind their goals of Money / Luxury / Relations / Health / Power / Name and Fame all they are asking is just one thing. They want PEACE OF MIND. They assume that if they get money, they will be able to live life with peace of mind. They assume that if they have good health, they will have peace of mind. So, the ultimate goal is peace of mind only for any person. But the peace of mind will not come if you are not having the ultimate quality.

The Ultimate Quality: -

This quality is the root of all the qualities you may have or may not have. From childhood, I was reading books and that is my favorite way of investing my time. When I was reading Self Help book, they call it – CHARACTER is everything. When I was reading Religious books – they called it – “Do to others whatever you would like them to do to you.” But when I started on the way towards Spiritualism – I have been told one quality to be HONEST with yourself.  Incidentally, when I stepped out for my first job 30 years back – my grandfather had told me – “Honesty is the Best Policy.”

Having read tons of books and applied the same in my life – I can tell you that behind all so-called qualities – the hidden quality is only one and that is HONESTY.

If you have this – nobody can stop you from going to the top and if you don’t have this – nobody can help you stay at the top. You may win by hook or crook – but without honesty, you can’t be happy from within.

To whom you should be HONEST?

The only person whom you should be honest with is YOU and only YOU. If you are not honest from day one or from within – you will take people for a ride and smarter people than you will also take you for a ride.

My simple understanding of Honesty is the synchronization of your THOUGHTS – WORDS – ACTIONS. If you are thinking something and saying something and doing the third thing – you are not HONEST. You may or may not be cheating somebody.

Say you thought to get up at 5am and you are getting up at 8am and you tell others that you always get up at 5am. All three things are not synchronized. Here you are not cheating somebody but still, you are not honest.

How Honesty plays role in the stock market?

My first sentence to all my clients is to – Decide why you are in the market? Do you want to trade or do you want to invest or do you want to do both?

Now, in the last 30 years – I have seen the beauty of the human mind.

Say somebody wants to become a TRADER – he will not follow stop loss and he will become an investor in that company.

Say somebody wants to become a long-term investor like Buffett and shares move up by 5-10% fast - he will sell the same. Say a share price moves down by 20% and he will start panicking rather than adding more.

He will trade in investment shares and invest in trading shares.

Ultimately, he will end up with losses or below the average performance.

He may blame Market / Luck or any other reason for this kind of performance.

But – this is nothing but Lack of Honesty with the self. His thoughts – words and actions are not aligned.  

Now, the question comes – The World is dishonest and if I remain honest, how will I progress?

This is another typical attitude or excuse for not following honesty.

The question is not about others. It's about you. Your character, your happiness, and your peace of mind. Look at the long history of cheaters and scamsters – they may or may not have got caught. But they have always remained in the fear of being caught. This fear takes away the PEACE OF MIND.

They pick up drinking and other intoxication habits. Thanks to this they can forget the pain of dishonesty for some time and feel on cloud nine.

So, all the luxury, beautiful girls, scenic location, and 7-star facilities will not give you peace of mind.

Should you follow HONESTY?

I don’t know about you. It depends on your ultimate goal. If your ultimate goal is peace of mind, then you have no other way but to follow honesty. Honesty is the only policy that can give you peace of mind.

If peace of mind is not your goal – you are 100% free to follow whatever you think fit.

What NEXT?

As told in the beginning, the ultimate goal is peace of mind. You may or may not know consciously. Some may want Moksha or Nirvana. But that is also the ultimate goal – peace of mind.

90% plus problems of Humans are due to Mind only. The only sure shot weapon or strategy to deal with them is Honesty.
