I am sure the answer is going to be YES. NO is not an option. Somehow, speed has become an important factor for measuring growth in any area.

Today I am sharing a beautiful story for Growth.

This is the story of Rishi Kashyap and his wife Vinata. Vinata wanted the most powerful son. She wanted her son to be more powerful than Sun. When Rishi was pleased with her devotion towards him, she asked for a boon to have a son as per her desire.

Rishi gave her a boon in the form of an EGG. Rishi said – it will mature at the right time and the most powerful son as per her desire will come out. Rishi went for a Penance in the forest. Now, she was waiting for the EGG to mature. 9 months passed / 9 years passed / 90 years passed. She was waiting and waiting. The legend says – 500 years passed in the waiting but the egg did not mature.

The other wife of the Rishi – Kadra - was having 1000 sons by this time but Vinata was not having a son as per her desire. She grew impatient and broke the egg.

From the broken egg a flash of light, Aruna, sprang forth. He was as radiant and reddish as the morning sun. But, due to the premature breaking of the egg, Aruna was not as bright as the noon sun as he was promised to be.

Aruna became angry with this mother for his premature birth but nothing can be done now as he was already born.

He was promised to become more powerful than NOON SUN but thanks to the impatience of her mother – he could not. He ended up becoming a charioteer for the Sun. Even today when the Sun rises – the Red colour spreads the first. That is the Aruna.

What is the LESSON for the FAST GROWTH?

Waiting Patiently, once you have done the right investments, is top-secret for making fast money.

Before you pick up the right investment – you need to have the skill sets to pick up the right investments.

In the above example – Vinata did selfless services to the Rishi Kashyap before she became eligible to get a boon. Once she got the boon – it was her duty to wait till the egg gets matured.

The same way – invest your time / money and other resources in learning the stock market first. We follow the same method in education. We invest 17 years to become an MBA before we go out to get a job or start a profession. But the same MBA when he comes to the Market – forgets that he had taken 17 years to get his degree. He is not ready to wait for 17 months also.  

Once you have mastered the investing skills – pick up the investment idea you are thinking it to be the best as per your own study. Now, hold it till it matures.

In practice, I have heard many investors complaining that when they sell the stocks – they move up fast. This is nothing but their impatience at work. When you have chosen some idea after a detailed study – why can’t you be a little more patient?

What is learning?

1.  Develop investing skill sets with a goal to make a big money.

2.  Once you develop the skill sets – pick up the idea and hold it patiently.

As per Management science – it takes 10000 hours to master any skill set. If you invest 10 hours per day, it takes 1000 days or 3 years. Knowing this truth – we request all our followers to be with us at least for 3 years so that they get the holistic view of the market top and bottom.
