“Money Can’t Buy Happiness. So, I Don’t Want To Invest and Make Tons of Money.”

Greetings from Hitesh! Our last post on Non-Violence has become the most read and our newly launched blog site – www.hiteshmparikh.com is generating lot of new and old visitors. One of the Visitors reading our last Post on Non-Violence – posted above comments - “Money Can’t Buy Happiness. So, I Don’t Want To Invest and Make Tons of Money.”

Indian’s Legacy:-

We had a long legacy of Poverty in India, at least for the last 1000 years due to foreign attackers taking our wealth to their NATIONS. (In fact, Vasco-Da-Gama’s going back to EUROPE and starting of Industrial revolution in EUROPE has very high co-relations).

Under the influence of GULAAMI and POVERTY – we had NEW BREED of BABAS / PREACHERS coming to us and becoming our GURU. They become most accepted as they talked about ILL of Money / money is the root cause of unhappiness/ Money can’t buy you happiness!! The concept of Sacrifice / Donations / Mortification / Renouncing the World became more and more FAMOUS. They were preaching – if you are having 1 ROTI – DONATE half to the HUNGRY.

All these concepts / traditions /system / belief were very useful when you did not have money. It made the people’s life easy. Same way there is a BELIEF of JUDGEMENT day in some Religions. They believe that this is the ONLY birth and after your DEATH –GOD will give you HEAVEN or HELL depending on your KARMAS. Now, they were leaving in DESERTS – no water / no food and life was as such very difficult for them. To talk about Re-BIRTH to them would have been more problematic for them. So, they were made to think about HEAVEN after death in such a situation and it made their life EASY to live.

In India – from the AGE old we have a concept of RE BIRTH – because we were RICH in the past. (Just think – can you tell MR. MUKESH AMBANI about HEAVEN. He is living in HEAVEN NOW. For him REBIRTH will be more suitable).

In the current times – our BABAS and PREACHERS are repeating age old SERMONS – and under their influence – many of the NORMAL people also REPEAT what our above-mentioned Visitor had said.

It is not HIS VIEW. He has been BRAIN washed to believe in that.

In recent past, about 50 years back – NEW BABA called OSHO RAJNISH came. He talked about lavishly living the life. The world was getting RICHER and his thoughts were easily became most accepted in RICH WESTERN World. He became most famous for having 93 Rolls Royce cars. After him there is all NEW BREED of 5 star babas have started and you can see many baba flying in their own JET!!

The point I am driving is that – whatever we believe is always related to the LARGER situation of the WROLD of our time. The TRUTH is always HIDDEN in between.

Now let me DEAL with HAPPINESS. Let me ask you a simple question – Is happiness an END result as believed by many?

If you look at the Multi millionaire – he eats the same Qty of food – which he was eating before he became WEALTHY. He will also have the same digestion issues / family issues / relationship issues. He will also become OLD some day and Die some day. If He marries to the most beautiful Girl of his time due to his money – there will not be much difference between how many times he sleeps with her compared to he would have married to an average looking girl.

If you are having the TIMEX / TITAN / RADO or ROLEX – they all will show you the same time!! If you are using NOKIA/ SAMSUNG / Black Berry / IPHONE – they all supports the same functions. You will reach to your OFFICE – whether you go by TRAIN / BUS/ TAXI / MARUTI / MERCEDES or MAYBACK.

So, the end results will always be the same. Most confuse happiness with the END results. I have heard many people saying (when a RICH GUY DIES in HOSPITAL) – “in spite of so much money he DIED. Money could not save his life”. This comes from their AGE OLD BRAIN washing.

Now let me deal with other Question -

When do you feel the Happiest?

You feel the happiest – when you want to do something and you are able to do that when other are compromising with their life. Simple. You want a Window seat in TRAIN – you got it and others are seating next to you or just standing in a heavy RUSH of morning. Just remember the happiness you got.

You wanted to marry the GIRL NEXT door and you could marry her. That was the happiest moment of your life.

You have gone to the BIG watch store and you are able to select ROLEX of your CHOICE, instead of compromising with other cheaper brands – that is happiness.

You have gone for shopping and sales man asks you what is your range? You reply him – “NO RANGE. Just show me your BEST”. This is Happiness.

Happiness never comes from the END results. END results are always the SAME. So, comment of our visitor is UNEDUCATED!!

Happiness comes from the ABILITY To Do what we wish to do and Money can GRANT you that ability.

I will be LIVING MY LIFE SOMEDAY

There is another misconception among most guys – who are coming out of poverty to middle class or middle class, entering into RICH class – they become insecure and they want to hold on to their MONEY before they spend it someday!!

They have the ABILITY to CHOOSE – but they don’t want to CHOOSE NOW!! They are future oriented. They also do not get HAPPINESS. They die in waiting to be HAPPY – in spite of having MONEY.

What NEXT?

Money can GRANT you the GREAT POWER - The POWER To CHOOSE.

The POWER To CHOOSE is the real CAUSE OF HAPPINESS. In that WAY – MONEY BRINGS REAL HAPPINESS!!
