Butterfly Effect on your Investments, your Debts and your overall Life

Greetings from Hitesh! In continuation of our last two posts – we are dealing with another subject which has been generally used in the field of ENVIRONMENT. Let us see how it affects. But before that let us deal with the meaning of BUTTERFLY EFFECT.

Butterfly Effect: -

We need to understand the CHAOS theory before we deal with BUTTERFLY effect.

Small differences in initial conditions, such as those due to rounding errors in numerical computation, yield widely diverging outcomes for such dynamical systems, rendering long-term prediction of their behaviour impossible in general. This happens even though these systems are deterministic, meaning that their future behaviour is fully determined by their initial conditions, with no random elements involved. In other words, the deterministic nature of these systems does not make them predictable.

This behaviour is known as deterministic chaos, or simply chaos. The theory was summarized as under: -

When the present determines the future, but the approximate present does not approximately determine the future.

Butterfly Effect: -

The term, coined by EDWARD LORENZ, is derived from the metaphorical example of the details of a tornado (the exact time of formation, the exact path taken) being influenced by minor perturbations such as the flapping of the wings of a distant BUTTERFLY several weeks earlier. Lorenz discovered the effect when he observed that runs of his WEATHER MODEL with initial condition data that was rounded in a seemingly inconsequential manner would fail to reproduce the results of runs with the unrounded initial condition data. A very small change in initial conditions had created a significantly different outcome

What is Indian VERSION of BUTTERFLY Effect?

Lord Krishna in GITA chapter 4 slok 17 talked about GAHANA KARMNO GATI. He said that “The intricacies of action are very hard to understand. Therefore, one should know properly what action is, what forbidden action is, and what inaction is”

Our SEERS and SHASTRA’s talks about theory of KARMA. They see that KARMA in the past births can also affect the resutls in current births.

Krishna is most advanced as he had taken care of KARMA / AKARMA and VIKARMA in above slok.

BHAGWAN MAHAVIR in JIN SUTRA talks about being aware about your bad habits (proper Jain word is KASHAAY)/ illness/ debts. He said that you must take care of them when they are SMALL or YET TO BECOME your HABIT.

Chanakya asked to KILL – ENEMY / ILLNESS and DEBTS as soon as they arise.

How it is seen in the field of FINANCE and INVESTMENTS?

We have a concept of COMPOUNDED INTEREST. I see many of my friends taking a small loan and end up paying in tons or going bankrupt after that.

Recently many big corporates have gone for bankruptcy under NCLT in India. When they took loan, everything was rosy, and calculations showed that they will be able to generate enough money for the interest and principle. But, they could not pay and end resutl is MODI is asking for capital infusion of Rs.3.6 lakh crores from RBI!!

Small investments over a period becomes tons of money for small guys. Many parents buy small amount of gold each DIWLAI and buy the time, they have a marriage of their daughter or son, they are ready with the Gold for the ornaments.

When they started accumulating GOLD, they knew present and they also knew that in future they would need gold. But when the time of marriage comes – many becomes positively surprised with the amount of GOLD they have accumulated. This is the beauty of BUTTERFLY effect.

What it means for NORMAL GUYS?

While Existence has given us the right to do what we like, it has also retained its right to do what IT LIKES. The BEST Way to WIN EXISTENCE is to makes ITS DESIRE as our DESIRE. When our ACTIONS are aligned with EXISTENCE’s Desire, our resutls will be super good and it will give us tons of happiness in the end.

So, let us be aware of our small actions as they will lead to drastically unexpected positive or negative resutls in our health, wealth, overall life and investments.
