What Should Be the Purpose of Investment & Life? Must read for All

Good Morning Friends! Yesterday had been a great day in the market. We always tell – life and market can change any time and you must not feel sad or proud for it. Many of my readers have asked me - What should be the purpose of Investment & Life? Today I am going to deal with that.

Goal V/s. Maya:-

Normal guy is aware about goals. He has been taught in school / college and post graduate levels. What kind of goals they set? Let us see.

To get an admission in leading institute for study / to get a job in respected company / get 6 figures salary / get promotion / get married / settled down in USA  / travel abroad / create funds for retirements and things like that.

The funny thing about goal setting is that you lose the interest in your goals as soon as you achieve the same. You set new goal and get after it. In short, you are always running after something or the other. In other words, it keeps you busy without giving time to enjoy the achievements.

Our Spiritual Masters calls this phenomenon as Maya and asks us to come out of it as fast as possible. Knowing that everything is MAYA and realize the truth is known as – Samadhi / Moksha / Kaival Gyan / Buddhahood in various religious languages. But they are talking about the same thing.

Just keep this in mind and arrange the three of the following priorities from 1 to 3!!

1.  To Be Secure.

2.  To Be Comfortable.

3.  To Be Rich.

I always ask this to my prospective client. Surprisingly, in last 25 years of my experience, 90% of the guys I have asked have arranged their priorities as given below.

1.  To Be Secure.

2.  To Be Comfortable.

3.  To Be Rich.

If you have read the goals mentioned above - you will agree that they are going for security and comfort as their first and second priority. They want to become Rich but they are waiting for some miracles to happen for that.

10% of the people I meet have their priorities as follows.

1.  To Be Rich.

2.  To Be Comfortable.

3.  To Be Secure.

But smartest 10% of the above 10% have a new priority than the above three. They gave number 1 to Financial Freedom. They are after that. They just do not want abundant money alone they want the abundance of time also. They enjoy the money. For them everything is cheap – they do not wait for / spend time for  discount / bargain and deals. They want time and time to enjoy the money.

Now Just Think....

If you have reached to Financial Freedom – will you worry for small things of the life like job / promotion / retirement planning / insurance and tax planning based on Inflation Index / daughter’s marriage / son’s education and things like that?  

E.g. Mr.Anil Ambani has the best equipped hospital and insurance company. Do you think he or his son will worry about Job / Promotion/ Medical Treatment and Retirement Planning / Inflation and things like that?

  

So, what should be purpose of investment and life?

Financial Freedom should be your purpose. Once you reach their – all other things will look like an ant. Just think you are visiting Burge Khalifa and you meet the watchman over there. He has a height of 7 ft and you are just 5ft 10inch. He looks taller and you may get frightened by his look.

But you took an elevator and now you are at 163rd floor. Now look at the same watchman from there. You may not be able to see him. If at all you see him, he will look like an ant to you!!

Same way when you reach Samadhi – life /death/ relationships / money and all religious rituals becomes insignificant for you.

Go for the highest purpose in your life.

My Personal Call:-

In big towers like Burge Khalifa there are 3 to 10 kinds of lift. 1 take upto 30^th floor / 2^nd upto 60^th floor / 3^rd upto 90^th floor/ 4^th upto 120 the floor / 5^th upto 150^th floor and 6^th upto top floor.

Same way – you are Uneducated and doing blue color job – is 1^st lift / you are Educated and doing white color job – 2^nd lift / you are Uneducated and doing Business – 3^rd lift / you are Educated and doing Business/Profession – 4^th lift / you are Educated and doing Investment – it is the fastest lift. It can take you to the top faster than any of the above lifts!!
