Whom do you resemble when you invest – Duryodhan / Karna / Abhimnayu or Arjun?
Dear Fellow Travelers,
Namaste! Yesterday’s post on covid-19 was super hit. Readers love us for our accuracy and ahead of the event inputs. If you can’t think beforehand – the market will not give you any chance to think at the last moment. Today I am taking you back in time. I am going to talk about the 4 great personalities of Mahabharat. I am sure you would find your resemblance to someone without fail.
Duryodhan: -
This guy lacks the knowledge for investing. He doesn’t want to learn
also. He has tons of money. Since he has tons of money, he assumes HE KNOWS ALL
or HE CAN CONTROL ALL. This guy invests in Mutual Funds or PMS (KARNA). He will boast about his link with the
top fund managers or industrialists. He remains in confidence that these people
will earn money for him.
Karna: -
This is a self-made man. He has acquired all the skill sets and
knowledge himself. He has really worked hard to gain knowledge. But he has
done cheating to gain the knowledge (inside information or a front running in
stock market parlance). What’s more, he has also joined with the people like
Duryodhan. It means his knowledge is not useful to him and he is using this
knowledge for Duryodhan. His inside knowledge fails in front of the market. He dies
and also person dependent on him dies. We have seen a leading international fund wound up his so-called 100% secure debt funds in losses. The fund manager lost
the job but investors lost hard-earned money.
Abhimanyu: -
These are the words of Abhimanyu when he entered the war on 13th
day of Mahabharat.
He tells his charioteer - "What is this
Drona or even the entire world of Kshatriyas to me? I can fight Indra himself,
mounted on his Airavata, along with all the gods! Why, I can fight in a battle
even Lord Rudra himself, to whom the entire world of beings pays homage! This
battle that I am going wage today does not bewilder me in the least.”
Abhimanyu’s shocking words do not stop with these either. Continuing in the
same vein he says: "This entire army of enemies is not equal to
one-sixteenth of my power. Why, even if I find in front of me on the battlefield
my father Arjuna or my uncle himself, the mighty Vishnu who has conquered the
whole universe, that wouldn’t frighten me.”
This is exactly happening with the most investors – they are NEW to the
market. They have no experience of the market. They have some skills and they have
a thought process like Abhimanyu. They care a dam for listing to their advisors.
In fact, they do not appoint any.
Market kills these kinds of investors – mercilessly!! The market has no sympathy
for this kind of investor at all.
Arjun: -
This guy is well trained and educated under various GURU’s. He has the experience
of fighting a lot many wars in the past. Still, he has appointed the best advisor when
he had come to fight the Mahabharat war. This guy is knowledgeable, humble, experienced, and smart in the real sense.
This guy wins the WAR in the end. Duryodhan / Karna and Abhimanyu got
killed in the war.
What NEXT?
Whom do you resemble when you are investing? There is a beautiful saying
in Sanskrit – if knowledge is in Books and Money is with somebody – they both
will not be useful when you really need it. Duryodhan / Karna and Abhimanyu are
the example of the same.
At destiny management – we propose only one thing – you become like
ARJUN. Learn yourself and be humble to have the best advisors around you.
If you like our thought process – you can approach us.
Wish you all a happy investing.
