We have 30 days of SHRAVAN / 30 days of BHADRAPADA / 30 Days of ADHIK Ashwin Month / 30 Days of Nij ASHWIN Month / 15 days of KARTIK Month.

During this time Brahmins and Devotees do devotion in Shravan / Jains do their Paryushan in Bhadrapada / India celebrates Ganesh Chaturthy in Bhadrapada / we propitiate our ancestors in PITU PAKSHA in second half of Bhadrapada. Then comes Navratri / Vijaya Dashmi and 5 days of Diwali. After Diwali we have BHAI BEEJ / DEV UTHI EKADASHI and TULSI VIVAH.

This time we have Extra ASHWIN Month known as ADHIK MAS in local Guajarati language.  

Adhik mass is the most auspicious and when it is ASHWIN Month – it’s like adding Fragrance to Gold.
