Mulla’s View on Whisky v/s. Western Media’s View on QE

Greetings from Hitesh! Hope you are having a fantastic Friday and many of you must be having a gala time, if they followed our email advice. Yesterday the FED stopped the money printing press and western media and market are celebrating the same. It reminds me of Mulla Naseeruddin and his view on Whisky. Let me deal with that.

Mulla’s View of Whisky:-

Mulla had a terrible habit of drinking and it was causing sleepless night for his wife and family members. So, they took him to the best doctor of the town.

Rather than taking directly about the disadvantages of drinking the doctor decided to show him the real effects of drinking on Human Body.  

Doctor poured the whisky in a glass and put some insects inside. All the insects died immediately. Now, doctor turned to Mulla and asked what he understood out of it?

Mulla replied happily: - Whisky immediately kills the germs in the body!!

Doctor fainted!!

What Was the Western Media’s View of QE?

When it started they all were unanimous about the bad effects of printing money. But when FED added QE2 and QE3 – market started moving up and they became happy with that. They started praising the same.

When FED – said it will start cutting the QE – they became worried for economy and again started criticising!! (market was falling due to that)

Now, when QE is finally RIP – they are happy for FED at least now.

In short – they wanted market to go up when QE started / when 

QE withdrawal started and when QE ended.

Those who followed the free advice of MEDIA EXPERTS – would have surely lost their shirt!!

What Has Been Warren Buffett’s View?

He was simply investing in the businesses he understood well. His focus was on the performance of business rather than the performance of FED or Media View.
