Dear Fellow Travelers,

Namaste! FII pumped in USD 1 Trillion in India in the last 23 trading sessions. Are we surprised? No. With the change in Rahu in Vrishabh Rashi in September, we had categorically told that a Tsunami of funds will come to India. The same thing is happening. If you are our regular reader, you would also have not been surprised. 

Do you want to make tons of money in 2021? I am sure the answer would be yes. Then let us learn.

Remember three words “Mirror – Market and Mother” in 2021.

Mirror & Market: -

Say you are getting ready for your routine office meeting. After getting ready you are looking at yourself in the mirror. Looking yourself – you may find you are really looking good in the mirror or you are not looking good. If you are not looking good – you will change your clothes or makeup or hairstyle or anything which is not looking good.

So, there are three things – You / Mirror and Your feelings of looking good or bad. In the same way, there are three things while investing – Company / Market price and Your feelings of right or wrong.  

Most guys judge themselves based on their image in the mirror. The same way normal investors judge their investment performance based on the market price.

In the last 30 years – I have observed that small investors operate out of feelings only. They feel good when the prices move up and they come to the market when the market is really at the top.

Now, let us go to Mother.

Can you lie to your mother? Say you have come from the office and you are very tired. When your mother asked you how are you and you reply – “I am fine”. Will she believe you? No. she will prepare a nice Tea or Coffee for you to make you fresh. She understands you from within and not from your image or what you say. You are connected to your mother from ZERO levels. You can’t lie to her. If at all she appears to believe in your lie – because she loves you.

So, how to deal with the market in 2021?

Rahu is an illusion. Mirror also creates an illusion of yourself when you see yourself in it.

The money which has come is SMART money and they can vanish in thin air without you coming to know also. It’s like you move away from the mirror and your image is not there in the mirror.  

Those who are not connected with the market from ZERO levels like Mother – they all will be taken for a ride big time in 2021.

How to get connected to the Market like Mother?

You need to go through all the pain a mother takes before she delivers a baby. To the extent you try to avoid the pain – you will avoid the gain to the same extent. There are simple ways to make money. But there are no easy ways.

Market is full of Harshad Mehta kind of stories and Buffett kind of stories. What is your story? If you want money like Harshad Mehta and peace of mind and good health like Buffett – then you are living in an illusion.

Most people come to the market with a mindset of making easy money and they become the prey for seasoned market players.

What is our suggestion?

When I came in the stock market, my grandfather had told me – “Don’t be happy if you make tons of money in the first 1000 days and don’t be unhappy if you lose your money in first 1000 days.”  If I look back my journey for 30 years – I have seen 6 cycles of Teji and Mandi, I can tell you He was 1000% right.

In earlier days – I used to connect market price moving with my success of predicting right and market price moving down with my failure of predicting.  

Today I am just an observer of the market. I keep on observing the market and my being takes action at the right time. Let me share Bruce Lee’s dialogue in the movie "Enter the Dragon". I suggest you read it as many times as you can.

"A good fight should be like a small play but played seriously. A good martial artist does not become tense, but ready. Not thinking, yet not dreaming. Ready for whatever may come. When the opponent expands, I contract. When he contracts, I expand. And when there is an opportunity, I do not hit. It hits all by itself." 

This is a transformation from DOING to BEING. If you also want to make big money in 2021, then you will be required to change yourself from DOING to BEING like BRUCE LEE.

Once you go to BEING – Mirror and Market will not be able to cheat you. You will observe your investments the way your Mother observes you. The way she sees your tantrums, you will see the prices of your companies moving up and down.
