Knowing all about Investments and Becoming Investments – which one is better way?

Greetings from Hitesh! Buddha had a very nice system to enrol his sanyasis. They were asked to go to crematorium and stay there for 3 months. All they must do is to see all the bodies getting burned and, in a way, see themselves will also get burned someday. In three months, the guy who stays there realises that whether a king / a trader / a sanyasi or a beggar, all have the same destiny.

Buddha did not want to talk about SANYAS – he wanted his disciples to become SANYASIS from within. This trick was the most powerful then and even now.

I have always seen people are enthusiastic to talk about Market / Investment Ideas / Effects of world events on market / effects of MODI losing 2019 election on market and many other weird things. They enjoy talking about these issues. They have their views on the same and they want that their views are being listened to.

Normal guys have 4 ideas about investments. They / their investments / Market and their profit and loss as 4 different aspects when they deal with their investments. They are not at fault when they think like this. Our system is such that we have been trained to think in DUALITY. We see KARMA and BHAGYA / PROFIT and LOSS / LIFE and DEATH / Marriage and Divorce / Day and Night as two separate aspects. So, when we deal with investments – we see it separate from ourselves.

You are seeing just yourself in four different forms. It’s a trick of accounts / trick of numbers……just think for a minute – if numbers were not there – how will you deal with the above 4 aspects. The real problems arise out of this thought pattern.

There is a famous dialogue of Bruce lee “Empty your mind, be formless, be shapeless like water. If you put the water into a cup, it becomes the cup. If you put the water into a bottle, it becomes the bottle. If you put the water into tea pot, it becomes the tea pot. Now water can flow, drip or can crash. Be water my friend.”

This is an attitude of exploration / attitude of a seeker. When you are seeking, you need to be flexible / open minded.

When you develop above qualities and approach the investments, you become the investments. You become the market. You become the profit. You become the loss. There is no “YOU” LEFT but only MARKET or Only INVESTMENTS.

Let me share a beautiful story to explain the above concept in detail: -

A trader had a beautiful parrot in his home. It was in a cage. While he was going to abroad for a business, he asked the parrot what I should bring for you from your country. The parrot said – nothing. But go to any jungle and describe my situations to the FREE BRIDS over there. Whatever they tell you, tell me when you are back.

Trader went to Jungle and did what the parrot asked. The free bird immediately fell as if dead. The trader felt bad for the death of a bird. He came back and told the event to his own parrot. Listening to the story, PARROT also fell in the cage as if dead. The trader took out the parrot and suddenly the parrot became live and flew away.

The parrot realised that the way to FREEDOME is DEATH. When your “you” die, you become the investments and you become the market.
