How Normal Persons Deal With Information?

Somebody had said – Knowledge is a Power and all normal minds believe in the same. They are always interested in more and more knowledge. Thanks to their attitude, people who are running Schools and Colleges have never seen the Cycle of MANDI. Even today – I see parents are taking loans to send their child to best possible school/university or to send abroad for study.

Many times it happens also that they get the Well Paying job and settle down easily in there post study life. Looking at these examples – belief about studying is always high than not studying. When somebody gets a high degree with good grades – it is a matter of celebration for Family and Friends.

What is our Study Pattern?

Our study is more of information dissemination from teacher or books to our KIDS rather than KNOWLEDGE. When we memorize this information and write it down in EXAM and get good GRADES– they call us BRILLIANT!!

We know something about everything and it gives us an illusion that we know everything. Recently I had come across an MBA doing guy in my mentor program who did not know about writing a cheque!! He was a topper in school in 10^th / 12^th and He had scored 75% in his BBA exam!!

This guy had all the information about doing business / business model / employee management / marketing and things like that. He can impress you with his information till you ask him to do a thing he talks about!! This is a state of a normally educated guy!!

What he wants is WELL PAYING job. If it’s FOREIGN – he is more than happy. This is a state of more than 60% of the people or may be more. I don’t have exact statistics for the same.

How Do I see Google?

One of the ways to look at GOOGLE is to replace these kind of talkative guys. Google also gives the information the way these guys give. You don’t need to pay Rs.25000 per months or more to hire this kind of guys what Google can give you FREE of Cost.

This was written just to bring home the point – KNOWING is not DOING. Many guys when they come to market – they tell me they know about it.  But if you know about it then - How come you have not made money So far in Market? There must be something, which is missing. That is the subject of my post today.

There are three aspects to deal with success in investments.

Having information is one. Having a Vision of coming time is second. Having guts to take a position is third.

Most guys have the first one. There are many who play blind game. They don't worry for information also!!

Very few guys have the GUTS to take big positions and stick to it. It is very common to hear that I knew that XYZ would go up 100% in short time. But they just buy 100 to 500 shares.
