Fighting of Politicians V/s. Fights of Bulls and Bears in the Market

Dear Fellow Travellers,

Namaste! The election mood is full on. Modi Ji is frequently visiting Gujrat and Rahul Ji is on India Jodo Yatra. The coming year has 8 Elections and 2024 will have Parliament plus 7 state elections. So, the coming 700 days are full of Election News and Politicians fighting with the opposition party politicians.

Have you seen RAMLEELA play on the STAGE?

I am sure many would have seen it. On stage, the RAM and RAVAN will fight with each other. RAVAN will be insulted on stage and killed ultimately. However, after the show is over – you will find both the ACTORS are having a snack or dinner together.

While they were acting – you hated RAVAN and loved RAM. They also acted to create those kinds of feelings in the audience. Their show was successful because their act got you the excitement and feelings of Hate and Love for the respective characters they were playing.

What do politicians do?

The person who is not in power will use tons of promises to woo the voters. He will also find out some of the other scams or wrongdoings of the person or the party which is in the power. But when he comes to the power – he will forget all his promises. Now, the person who lost the election will do the same against the winner.

When you go a little deep into the matter – they may abuse each other in public – but it is part of their RAJNITI.

Ultimately – both have working and issue-based friendship so their interest is taken care of whether one is in power or not. This is an open secret.

Bulls and Bears: -

In the same way market also has two parties – one is known as Bulls which buys and makes money. The other party is Bears – who sell and makes the money. They both play their games based on the economic, political, Policy, Industry, and Company-based news, information, and predictions for the coming time.

They may appear opposite of each other but they know each other very well and they are aware of their opposite parties’ strengths and weaknesses.

Have you observed when FII sells – Locals buy and when Locals sell – FIIs buy? They are supposed to be the most informed guys how come they can have a different view of the same company? It’s their game to take the normal investors for a ride.

How NORMAL investors are taken for a RIDE?

All of the above are fighting for the sake of fighting. They are enemies in the eyes of the public only. But if you discuss with somebody about Politics and that guy is having an opposite view – you will end up spoiling the relationship with that person in reality. Many times, Murders also take place due to the Non-Tolerance of the other person’s political view.

Normal investors act out of emotions and he is taken for a ride with a feeling of TEJI and MANDI. He succumbs to the MEDIA and acts on emotions. You know the end results.

How do the wisest of Investors play the market?

They think beyond TEJI and MANDI in the Market and Company specific. They focus on the Management and the company's potential. They keep their eyes on BULLS and BEARS. When they are sure that BEARS are wrongly selling – they will get into action and buy. When they find that BULLS are buying at nonsense prices – they will sell or they will sell short.

A seasoned investor will be sitting and watching the game of BULLS and BEARS. He only acts when he finds that his actions will give him positive results.

He is beyond emotions. He acts based on cold-blooded calculations and only calculations. He always has a plan A and plan B as he knows that market is much smarter than his individual intelligence.

What about NORMAL investors?

They are emotional people. They get carried away by a small fall in the price and a small rise in the price. They may talk about the long term intellectually but they are emotional inside. Emotions always win in the fight between logic and emotions.

Our religious leaders/politicians and Market Operators are aware of our weak points. They smartly exploit us with emotion-arousing messages.

Go beyond the Obvious.

Have a great investment.
