3 most observed attitudes of the current generations – Instant – The Best and Free.

Dear Fellow Travellers,

Namaste! Yesterday, we had seen the 3 forces which shape our decision-making process and ultimately decide our destiny. Out of the 3 – RAJAS and TAMAS are responsible for our GREED and FEAR. The person with the above two will need all the things in their life – instantly – the best qualities and free. In Gujrati – it is TARAT – SARAS and MAFAT. 

It is possible to get all three together? 

Look into your heart – how many times have you wished whatever you wanted to be available instantly with the best qualities and also at cheaper rates? 

In my 3 decades of experience in the stock market, with investors of various levels, in my astrology consultancy – I have observed that those who are wanting the above three together – always end up losing their capital (in the stock market), spoiling their relationships (business or personal relationships), and running from one astrologer to another and wasting time and money. 

In short, you can expect anything but getting all three is not going to be possible.

What did Buffett say about FAST return? 

He had said a beautiful thing for the fast return expected investors. He had said – “You can’t make a baby in a month by making 9 women pregnant. You need to wait for 9 months with one woman.” 

Knowing this truth also – I see normal people are taken for a ride with a promise to double their money in a month or two. They invest in schemes that pay them 3-10% per month. They get for some months and in the last, the person runs away with the capital. Then they curse the legal system and the person who cheated them. Honestly, those who invested in this kind of scheme are to be punished for their unreasonable GREED. 

So, RAJAS should be controlled by SATTVA. 

What did Buffett say about the Market being Perfect? 

Buffett had said that – “if markets are perfect – I would be standing on the road with the bowl in my hand.” All he is saying – he would be a beggar. 

There is a vested interest in the market and they are after the normal investor’s money. They are convincing him that the MARKET IS PERFECT and you can’t make an above-average return. What’s more – you should leave investment to experts only!! In other words, according to them - the best way to play the market is through MUTUAL FUNDS and SIP. 

Their marketing is so perfect that small investors have tons of fear when they approach the market directly. The result – they get their money. Thanks to their fear - they are okay to get much less return in mutual funds than the average return of the market. Just see the best of the mutual fund performance from 2011 till now and see the Indexes return. Investors in Mutual funds have got below-average returns!!  

They are taken over by FEAR. So, TAMAS is more in these kinds of investors. 

Her also – Sattva element should be increased so that the normal investors re-gain their COMMONSENSE. 

What about FREE? 

It is said there are no FREE LUNCHES. But people love to get something FREE. They give rise to KEJRIWAL kind of leaders when it comes to politics. When it comes to sharing market some penny stocks move 1000% -5000% in a small period of 1-3 years. The small investors enter the same and the smart operators do the retailing to them in small lots. Ultimately – he stops doing the market making and the stock goes to ZERO or some legal actions are taken against the company and the stock gets delisted. The losers are always the small investors in this kind of game. 

So, FREE or CHEAP is the costliest price you are paying. 

What NEXT? 

This post is in continuation of the last post. There is nothing INSTANT in the share market. Nothing is FREE and all good investments take their own time to give you a return. 

So, come out of the mindset of TARAT – SARAS, and MAFAT or you will lose your capital for sure.
