Namaste! Our post on Makar Sankranti, which was written on 17^th December 2020, made a lot of hits in the last 2 days. Normal readers always wait for the last moment. As a rule, we always prepare way ahead of the events and plan our investment moves. You can follow whichever appeals to you.

Today I am going to share 1 sure shot guarantee to all new investors in the stock market which nobody tells them. All investment consultants/brokers and media always take them for a ride by hiding this TRUTH from them. Let me deal with the simple incidence of your life before I deal with that.

What happened when you were learning to walk as a kid?

You were barely able to stand up. Walk little and fall. Again, you used to get up and try to walk. Every time you were trying – you were trying with a lot of happiness. All your focus was on getting up and walk. Your focus was never on falling. You were so cheerful that your parents used to get worried but you were in your own mood. Am I right? Just try to see your kid and remember your days.

Let me share another example.

What happened when you were learning cycling?

Of course, you used to fall. You used to get hurt in your legs and elbows. Here also, your focus was on learning cycling as fast as possible and not on falling or pain from falling.

If you are really lucky, you will lose in the initial phase. You will lose badly if you don’t have any mentor with you. While you were walking your mother would stay in front of you and would welcome you with two arms stretched towards you or motivate you to get up and walk up to her. In reality, people are so full of greed and impatience that they invest a very big amount in the first trades. I have seen investors starting with futures in the initial stage. So, their losses are also very high.

They run away from market due to two reasons.

1. They focus on loss and not on developing investing skills. When their focus on loss, they get frustrated fast and run away.

2. There is no mentor with them to guide them or to take care of them when they make a loss.

What is the right way after initial losses?

This is a time to go inward. Time to look at your mistakes, understand the market’s way of working, and develop your skill sets. Most guys find this painful. 90% of the guys are not ready to THINK. Can you see the fun – Edward De Bono spent his life talking about – How to think?

In my long journey – I have seen – if I give options to the investors to think – he is not ready to think on them. He will simply say – “you tell me and I would do”

This is the most dangerous mind-game they are playing. This way they can blame the person for losses and take the credit for profit. But they are not ready to LEARN to THINK.

Why unlucky people will get the profit in the first trade?

This is the most dangerous thing that can happen with the new investors. With the profit in initial trades or investment – this guy start believing that making money is easy in the market / just take a tip and buy and make tons of money. He thinks that it is useless to develop the skillsets for investments or appoint mentors.

This kind of people when they lose at a later stage – they find it difficult to go to anybody to learn. Their ego gets hurt. They simply can’t digest the fact that they don’t know investing.

I consider this kind of people as unlucky.

What Next?

If you are NEW to the market – just remember two examples of a baby trying to walk and learning a bicycle. You have already passed through them in the past. Just repeat the same while investing. You had parents at that time. Now, appoint a mentor or consultant.
