Big Money comes when you invest with Conviction. Where to find Conviction?

Namaste From Hitesh! Our post on Buffett's concept of Profit was well received by serious readers. Thanks for their time in reading and sending feedback. If you have not read, you can read the same. It’s worth your time if you want to make big money from stocks. One of the most often used dialogues of Buffett is – “I am not right because the market agrees with me and I am not wrong because the market disagrees with me. I am right because my calculations show”. This is the power of Conviction.

Let us understand that with a SUFI STORY.

Once SUFI Sant Rabia was searching something outside her HUT. Sun was about to set and there was no electricity in those days. So, she called neighbours to help her. Neighbours asked her what she was searching for? She said here NEEDLE is lost and she is searching the same. So, the neighbour also started helping her.

Finally, Sunset happened and darkness came. They all could not find the NEEDLE. One of the neighbours asked where did you lose the needle. If you tell us exactly, we can search there.

Rabia said – I lost the NEEDLE in the HUT but since there was no light in my HUT, I was searching outside of the HUT. Neighbours became angry with her and said we knew you are MAD, but now your behaviour proved that you are an Idiot also. When you know you have lost it inside – why the hell you wasted our time in searching the same outside the hut.

Where is the source of SUCCESS?

If we are thinking RABIA was MAD or IDIOT – let us look at our behaviour when we go for success. Don’t we give more importance to Car / Properties / Outside Show for our success?

Success is inside out phenomenon and not outside in. You need to be successful from within before you become from outside. Zig Ziglar used to say – You've got to be before you can do and do before you can have. He is suggesting three steps.

1.   You Be First from within.

2.   You take action

3.   You get the results – outside phenomenon.

Peace / Money / Happiness / Abundance / Guilt / Stress / Unhappiness has the source inside us. Unless and until you deal with them from within – you will never have outside success.

Where to find Conviction?

Of Course – inside you. As long as you are relying on the MEDIA ANALYST and investing – you will be taken for a ride by them. One day they will give you a positive talk about the market and another day they will talk negatively. If you keep on following them – you will become PUPPET in their hands.

Puppet is always in somebody’s hand. It doesn’t have his own happiness or unhappiness. It dances to the fingers of puppet players. This is the worst position in anybody’s life.

When Conviction comes?

Education is the biggest source of conviction in any area. More you educate yourself in the area of investments – more conviction will come. You will not be taken for a ride by Media guys and vested interest people.

Normal people invest 10-14 hours for earning money on a daily basis. But they are not ready to invest at least 1 hour per day for educating before they invest their hard-earned money. Isn’t it an irony?

I have seen people negotiating in all areas starting from Rs.100 to Rs. N. But when it comes to Investing – they somehow forget their habits. Their GREED overtakes and their better senses go for a toss.

How do we work with our clients?

We educate them to the maximum level possible. Once they are powered with the right knowledge – I don’t have to do spoon-feeding. They themselves are in a position to deal with the situations in their investments or life.

What Next?

Whether you believe me or not / whether you like it or not – if you want to make big money – you will have to invest your time in educating yourself. If you don’t do that – and if at all big money comes to you by a stroke of luck – rest assured – it will not stay with you for a long time.
