Which is Correct – “you are in control of your life” or “your destiny decides your life”?

Greetings from Hitesh! Our last post was superhit and we have received a lot many messages of praise. In the same, we had suggested the facts that – you are responsible for the wellbeing of your family and your life. Reading the same – one of our readers has asked the above question. Each individual – at least Indian born – have asked this question some or the other time in their life. Very smart guys ask these questions when they are in their golden period. Most guys asked when they are in soup. So, let us deal with them

I am in control of my life: -

These guys think that everything they have achieved is due to their efforts / their smartness and their intelligence. They have a kind of superlative attitude and they are calling shots in their life.

They outward-oriented, they are after their goals as if there is no tomorrow. They do everything out of SENSE of URGENCY. They enjoy flaunting their success and when they get failures, they get hurt like anything. They feel that they are FAILURES. They take everything on their own – their EGO gets hurts and their minds become Frustrated and Depressed.

Most RICH people who believe that they are reasons for their success – become frustrated sooner or later, as failures are part of anybody’s life. The richest country in the world – the USA – has the highest number of Psychologists to heal such people. In the recent past – a leading actress shared about her treatment with a psychologist. A media report says – after repeated movie failure – SHAHRUKH KHAN is affected.  

The end results of this approach is FRUSTRATION but they will cry in MERCEDES S class wearing JIMMY CHOO Glasses.

Destiny is in control of my life: -

This is a typical Eastern concept. Everything is happening as per the GOD’s / Destiny’s plan. We are nobody to do anything. If I am destined to become CROREPATI, I will become. If I am not destined – nobody can make me. If at all, they make me, the money will not last with me.

This is an attitude of Surrender. Here – your “I” is missing. So, all Failures related to “I” / all frustration related to “I” /all challenges related to “I” – does not affect the mental peace of the person. He remains COOL and CALM under all circumstances. This guy may or may not have MERCEDES S class but he will be as happy on his CYCLE as the guy with MERCEDES. Most times he will be more happy that his richer counterparts.

They are always cantered and so no mental issues can affect them.

Which one is CORRECT?

In the long journey of human evolution – our rishis and smartest of the brains – developed models of human progress and happiness. Unfortunately, later generations missed the logic behind them and they picked up the concept as real. Once they picked up concepts as the real – their problem started. Same way – you control your life and your destiny (GOD) control your life both are just concepts.
