HDFC BANK passbook 1^st page Stamp is moving in the Social Media, are you upset with that?

Dear Fellow Travellers,

Greetings from Hitesh! The market went up each of the days during the last 6 days. In that way, we had a good weekend on Friday. Media reports say it is the longest period in 2019 when the market has moved up one side for 6 days in a row. Amidst such good news – the social media is busy with the HDFC Bank Passbook 1^st page Stamp. It says that the bank is responsible for the deposit of Rs.1 lakh only. The Bank clarified that they have stamped as per the rule. But most guys are upset post PMC fiasco. Let us deal with this issue. 

Death Blessing Baba in Sikkim: -

I have heard that there is a DEATH BLESSING BABA in Sikkim. Those who go to him – he gives them only one BLESSING – “have a peaceful death”. Most Baba blesses all their devotees – “May you live a very long life”.

Thanks to such blessings - The only time people visit him is when somebody in their family is having a terminal disease and they are suffering. So, people go to him and ask for a peaceful death for their relatives. This normally happens very few times during the normal course of life. So, most of the time BABA is having no visitor.   

Which Baba’s blessing will you take?

There are four possibilities.

1.  Going to DEATH Blessing BABA.

2.  Going to Long LIFE Blessing BABA.

3.  Going to Both Baba.

4.  Not going to any Baba.

Whichever possibility one may choose – Does he KNOW that he will die someday or not? Of course, everybody knows that they are going to die someday. 

When you know – you are going to die someday – will it make much difference – if somebody says – die peacefully or live longer? In fact, the smartest of the lot will ask for a PEACEFUL death. 

How does this relate to Savers in the BANKS?

Most savers in the banks know about the law of limited liabilities. In fact, all the companies have LIMITED written at the end of their name. LIMITED itself conveys its meaning. Like HUMAN LIFE, all creation of humans is also going to have a limited life.

  

There are four possibilities here also.

1.  One’s money may get stuck up like PMC/KAPOLE BANK and he is alive.

2.  One may die and money remains in normal good banks.

3.  One may plan his investments properly in different asset classes and enjoys his money while he is alive and lives an inheritance when he dies.

4.  One may not have any money, so no questions of the above 3 possibilities.

Where smart guys will focus?

They know anything can happen and they are not ready to wait for those things to happen. They plan it assuming these things may happen. 

I love STEVE JOB for his routine question – he used to ask every day – “If today is the last day of my life, where will I focus?” 

Like Steve Job, the smartest of the brains will plan for possibility number 3 from the above. 

How NORMAL guys miss the WAKE-UP CALL?

When JAPAN went into DEFLATION in the 90s, most guys thought it’s a JAPAN’s problem. When the 2008 crises happened in the USA, most guys thought it happened in the USA. Not in India. When EUROPE went down the drain, we thought it was their issue. 

Same way, when somebody dies in our neighborhood, we assume he/she has died. We can’t visualize that someday we will also be burnt/buried.

Nowadays any incoming mobile calls rings for 25 seconds only in India. So, if you don’t pick up the calls in 25 seconds – you miss the same. The above are also WAKE-UP calls. They are to be picked up AS SOON AS possible. If you don’t pick up, you will miss them. 

What is my call to my readers?

It is an irony that a normal guy spends 15 years of study to take a graduate degree in India but he is not ready to learn the CORE INVESTING SKILLS. He is not ready to invest his time and money in the same. All focus is on HOW to EARN MONEY? Very few are ready to get prepared with  – what to do with the money? 

If you WAKE-UP with the events happening around you, then treat my blog as an incoming call. Get prepared with the right kind of investment education before it is too late.
