2 Serious Problems (not Modi and Shah) which keeps Indian GDP and personal progress down for Indians. 

Dear Fellow Travellers,

Greetings from Hitesh! Today is 3^rd day of NAVRATRI and we are taking close look at the Indian Culture and Indian Mentality. We have found out two major issues which are keeping us behind when compared with the world. If you are worried about your progress also – then you must deal with these two issues immediately.

They say India is a Land of Opportunity, what is the fact?

Look around you. You will find a lot of opportunities to take your life to the next levels, opportunities to take your business to the next levels, opportunities to take your relationships to the next levels, opportunities to take your education to the next levels, opportunities to take your income to the next levels, opportunities to take your health to the next levels, opportunities to take your learning to the next levels, opportunities to create tons of wealth. In short, there are opportunities and only opportunities around us. Still, we are not able to grow.

What is stopping us?

Two major Mindsets are stopping us from grabbing the opportunities. Unless we deal with them, nothing is going to happen to your individual progress or progress of the country.

1^st Mindset: -

I want everything to be perfect. I want my wife to be perfect. I want my office to be perfect. I want my boss to be perfect. I want my company to be perfect. I want my travel to the office to be perfect. I want my clothes / my car / my speaking abilities / my presentations / my kids / my neighbour/ my society to be perfect.

Most guys are having this mindset. Thanks to this mindset – they will wait for the right time to do everything. They wait for the right time and opportunities passes by. There is nothing in life/business as perfect. They are as they should be. Your own mindset decides it to be perfect or not perfect.  

We may think MUKESH BHAI is living in a perfect Home. But have we asked MUKESH BHAI? He may or may not agree with our understanding.

What happens due to this mindset?

Your obsession to be perfect stops you from taking DECISION on opportunities. Look at the normal investor’s psychology. They want perfect TIP. When the market was down, they were waiting to buy. When the market goes up – they wait for it to come down before they buy!! In short, they want the PERFECT Market.

In personal life, many singles are not getting married till 35 age, as they keep on waiting for the Mr. / Ms. Perfect.

The obsession with perfection stops you from making a decision. Those who keep on working this way – they get frustrated someday and, in their frustration, they will make a decision for something which is not BEST but which is WORST. I have seen many times – people get so much frustration thanks to their perfection mindset – they settle for the below-average opportunity. They end up being an average person in their life.

2^nd Mindset: -

I will start it from TOMORROW. You want to start your exercise programme / you want to implement your new year resolutions / you want to do investment in shares / you want to join Hitesh Parikh / you want to meet your HNI clients / you want to learn something new / you want to renovate your home / you want to implement all the Astro-Vaastu remedies in your home and office – all you will START from TOMORROW.

What happens due to TOMORROW Mindset?

You don’t take action NOW. You remain in a kind of daydreaming that you will do everything tomorrow. Thanks to this mindset, all the remaining opportunities will also go away from his hand.

I have heard many guys telling me that they did not get so many opportunities in their time as we are getting today. I remind them – DHIRUBHAI was in their time only / Harshad Mehta was in their time only / Ratan Tata was in their time only / Amitabh Bachchan was in their time only / Sudha Chandran was in their time only / Narayan Murthy was in their time only / Uday Kotak was in their time only / Mumtaz was in their time only.

But thanks to their mindsets – they missed all opportunities in their life.

2 Deadly Combination and NORMAL PEOPLE’s Life:  -

Thanks to the above deadly combination of mindsets – the normal guy would not take DECISION in the first case and ACTION in the second case. When there is no decision and no action – 90% of the opportunities will go to the guys who take Decision and Action. The balance 10% of opportunities will be shared by 90% of the balance populations. So, when they say – there are no opportunities – they are saving their face.

What is the WAY OUT?

Let us learn from ARUN JETLY. He implemented GST without making it PERFECT. He faced a lot of CRITICISM for the same. Looking at the FEEDBACK / practical issues/software issues – he worked on it for the next two years and now there are no complaints about the system.

Look at STEVE JOB. He introduced the iPhone without making it perfect. He worked on it and after him, TIM COOK worked on it and today, we have iPhone 11.

The point is at whatever STAGE you are, START. As NIKE says – JUST DO IT. There is nothing like perfect and there is no TOMORROW.

The problem of HUMAN MIND: -

Our mind evolves as we progress. Look at the Man in the JUNGLE some millions of year back and look at us now. He changed it gradually. Same way – our mind can give new ideas only if it crosses a certain threshold. It can’t comprehend the PERFECT until it crosses 75%.

So, we should start doing everything as and when we are ready with 75%. Once you get the feedback/face the issues – you can work on the other 75% of the remaining 25%. This will take the total to 93.75%. This way you can progress in life/investments or business.  

Another unique feature of mind – whatever you do / how well you do – it will be 75% only.

Look at the REVIEW of iPhone 11. They are telling it could have been made better. The point is – mind always think new ideal or perfect scenario when you reach the first step. So, whatever you have done so far becomes 75%.

This is irrespective of how well you plan and how well you do. Mukesh Ambani Sons marriage may be perfect for us, buy NITA Ambani would have surely felt that she should have worn other SAREE or other ornaments. Now she will do it in her younger son’s marriage. But after the marriage of younger son will be over – she will have the same feelings of 75%.

So, the SECRET is JUST DO IT.
