Traditional / Modern / Awakened or Master – which kind of Investor are you?

Greetings from Hitesh! Babas are selling like HOT CAKE. I got the maximum hit to my last post on BABA. Everybody wanted to walk on WATER or walk without touching the FEET on the ground. Did you ever think that you are already walking without your FEET touching the ground? You are wearing your BATAs or NIKES. Am I right? And why the hell I would like to walk on water – I have a SPEED BOAT and many other options. Walking is an old time thing now a day.

Today I am going to DEAL with which type of investors you are. Just find out where do you stand? It might be possible that you are moving from one to other or you are a mix of 2 or more types.

Traditional Investors:-

Have you heard this DIALOGUE – nobody in our family has ever did this? From the generations we have followed particular way of investments and we will continue to carry on the same.

This guys will invest where his father was investing / where his grand father was investing / where his great grand father was investing. He takes a pride in clinging to the OLD TRADITIONS. He likes investments in LAND / GOLD / SILVER / ORNAMENTS / CASH and things like that.

He is CONFIDANT in whatever he is doing as he has a legacy to his support.

He is not happy with what he gets, but he is not ready to CHANGE his ways. He misses the major money making opportunities during his time.

Modern Investor:-

He is our NORMAL MBA guy. The first one lives in PAST, this guys lives in FUTURE. He is always in look out for NEW ideas / New gurus. He lives in DREAMS. You can easily sell him SIPs / Mutual Funds / Pension Plans or almost anything which can given him assurance of benefits in FUTURE. He tries to PLAN each and everything!!

He is on the GOOGLE. You name the NEWS and he KNOWS. He is overloaded with information and he can’t make up the way out of the same. Behind his apparent logical approach – he is 100% confused. But he will not accept that.

The one good thing about him is that he is MOVING. The first one is DEAD but this guy is ALIVE. He keeps on TRYING various permutations and combinations. But fails as he is not aware of what he wants?

Awakened Investor:-

This is a third stage in the evolution of the investor type. He is neither clinging to the PAST not he is in the DREAMS. He is in PRESENT. He knows what he wants and he is on the look out for the same.

He will go to GOOGLE like the 2^nd one – but he will only read what he is interested in it. He is not concerned about ECONOMY / Politics / World events / US election / FED rates – he is only interested in the company he is investing in!! He wants to know as much more as he can about his investments rather than other information.

For him the biggest loss is the opportunity loss and not the so-called loss of TRADITIONAL investors.

Master Investor:-

He reaches to the STAGE where he KNOWS himself. Once he knows one aspect that is HE – he starts knowing the MARKET and all his opportunities at any given point of time.

His MASTERY comes from the FACT that HE KNOWS which opportunities to MISS and which to absorb. He has found out the opportunities near to his HEART and he is accessing more of such opportunities. He is not ready to touch other opportunities – however good they may be.

For him Investing is a CHILD’s Play and he is just playing. He is beyond profit and loss in that way.

What NEXT?

For the LAST 25 years – I have helped many investors to reach to the AWAKENED Investor level. The only condition is to remain with me for 3 years. 

When you are AWAKENED investor – FLY BY NIGHT Operators will never take you for a RIDE. You will never get carried away by GREED / FEAR / WORRIES / GUILT. You will understand that LOGIC is not TRUTH.
