What Should Be Your Investment Strategy When Mother of All Bull Market is Coming Nearer?

Greetings from Hitesh! Thanks for appreciating my last article on need for Poetic Attitude for making tons of money in Market. I am really thankful to you all for being my regular readers. Let us assume you have hit the jackpot – how will you invest now? Also let us assume you have lost your last shirt – how will you invest now?

I am taking both the extreme situations to bring home the correct way to invest in market ahead of Mother of all Bull Market.

What Motivational Guru’s are telling us?

Particularly in the sales filed – they teaches that you hit the major deal – without waiting for another second – call another client. Their logic – you are motivated by your recent success. Now, you are full of enthusiasm and if you talk to your next client – chances are more that you will be able to deal his objection in a better way!! When you deal his objection in a better way – you create a possibility for second business and third and fourth etc., etc.

Most investors also follow these attitude and they started betting with increasing trade size. When their LUCK runs out – they give back to the market whatever they have taken from it plus they give their own money also!!

How Normal Guy works under failure?

He develops an attitude of revenge against market. He plays now to cover his losses!! He increases his bet sizes and he goes all out to find new opportunities not only to cover his losses but to make super profit also. 99.99% of the time he loses again!!

What is the Underline Strategy in the above Two Situations?

There is no Strategy in both the situations. You are just acting out of your EGO. In the first – your ego becomes happy when you hit the next jackpot and in the second you get the sadistic pleasure of making good your losses, if at all you become successful. Both are NEGATIVE approaches to your success. I am 100% sure – you will not get the much-needed inner happiness (for what you are taking all these pain) after winning this way. If at all you get happiness – it will last till you hit your next failure!!

How SMARTEST OF THE SMART Investor Plays in the Market?

They do not focus on EGO satisfaction. After every jackpot or failure, they analyze the reasons for their success and reasons for their failure. When they go on analyzing reasons, suddenly they realize that the success and failure was due to combinations of many factors and they are not the cause of it!! In fact, they are just beneficiary of the good situations. In short, their situations were the cause of their success and failures.

So, slowly and gradually, they develop an expertise to understand the situations, which can give them success!! When they get those SITUATIONS – they don’t wait. They just invest in tons. Many times they borrow capital and invest.

I have read and re-read Buffett saying – “I do not like PESSIMISM, but I like the Situations which PESSIMISM Creates – this is the best time to invest.”

What happens whey you Focus on SITUATIONS?

You will not have EGO for your success and Grudge for your failure. You will know deep down that whatever is happening is happening due to situations and situations will change sooner or later. So, when going is good – you will take extra efforts to make the best of Market situations.

You will also be able to see that MARKET has its own EGO and that is much larger than your individual EGO. You can’t beat it. Market does not care for your losses and your profit. It has its own being.

So, rather than clashing your EGO with MARKET – you will concentrate on SITUATIONS which can give you money and which will not give you money. You will develop patience to wait for the situations to emerge to take advantage of it.

When you focus on situations – by default - you will develop GRATITUDE towards market for giving those situations while you were trading or investing!! When you feel inner GRATITUDE – happiness will be the outcome for whatever you have got or whatever you have lost!!

What Next?

All my success is due to understanding the SITUATIONS       (my favorite word is – Ground Realities). I teach the same to all my clients. We have no EGO to beat the market or to become NUMBER ONE. My job is to be PRESENT TO THE SITUATIONS and ACT as per it. Success will come on it’s own!!
