Dear Fellow Travellers,

Namaste! In India, it is believed that seniors should be approached for their wisdom and experience when they are in trouble. Otherwise, also, it is better to have a senior around you to guide you. Well, let us deal with the same in today’s post with a beautiful story. I am sure – all seniors would wish that this kind of miracle should happen to them.

Story of a Retired Officer: -

A 70-year-Old Retired officer had one hobby, he loved to fish. He was sitting in his boat the other day when he heard 

a voice saying, 'Pick Me Up.' He looked around but couldn't see anybody. He thought he was dreaming when he heard the voice say again, Pick me up. He looked in the water and there floating on the top, was a frog.  

The Officer said - 'Are You talking to Me?' 

The frog said: - 'Yes, I'm talking to you. Pick Me Up, then Kiss Me; and I'll turn into the Most Beautiful Woman you have ever seen. I'll make sure that all your friends will be envious and jealous because I will be Your Bride!' 

The Retired Officer looked at the frog, reached over picked it up Carefully, and.......Placed it in His Shirt Pocket. 

The frog said, 'What, are you nuts? Didn't you hear what I said?' I said, 'Kiss me, And I will be your Beautiful Bride.' 

He opened His Pocket, looked at the frog, and said, ‘Nah. I'd rather like have a Talking Frog Than a Nagging Wife… 

How would you see the above story? 

1.   What would you do if you were in the old man’s place?

2.   Do you think OLD MAN’s act was full of Wisdom? 

Let us see how people will think and act in reality. 

1.   What would you do if you were in the old man’s place? 

For the ages, a man is in search of beauty. If she is coming like this from her own side – how many of you would like to miss that opportunity? I assume 99.99% of the readers would say – they would not miss it. 

2.   What is the FROG? 

Frog is an opportunity. The way an old man kept it in the pocket, we also through the opportunities in the dust bin. I am sure – many would not agree. Let us see. 

A. How many of you use your skill sets to the fullest extent for your growth?

B. How many of you will be happy to sell your skill sets to some MNC or big corporates and feel happy with the so-called GOOD or FAT salary?

C. How many of you are ready to learn hardcore investing to invest your hard-earned money rather than giving your money to some fund manager and earn some paltry return? 

I can add many such questions – but the main point is – if you think the OLD MAN was WRONG – see your actual behaviour with respect to the above FROG and evaluate yourself. 

3.   Do you think OLD MAN’s act was full of Wisdom?

He became CAREFUL and not full of WISDOM. He was CAREFUL when the opportunity was presented to him. He didn’t exploit it at all. He kept the same in his pocket.

When a normal person gets some money unexpectedly – rather than using the same in the right way – he would keep it in the BANK account or in this SAFE. He will try to be CAREFUL with the money rather than exploiting the power of the money he has got.

Knowing your psychology of being CAREFUL – they have developed the business of Mutual Funds / Saving Schemes and things like that. Somebody is using your so-called CAREFULNESS for their GROWTH.
