How Your Belief in Relationships affects your Investment Performance?
Greetings
from Hitesh! At last rain is on. Our last article on effectiveness of Mr.Modi
was a super hit. Most read and forwarded. Your happiness excites me to write me
more such articles. Today I am going to deal with one such issue of our life.
By the way, in our last article, we told you market will touch new high.
Just see Nifty and Sensex made new high today. (Just read our email and you can
mint tons of money)
How
Normal Relationship is formed?
You
meet a person. You like him/her. You meet that person again. You meet him/her regularly.
One day you become friends. One fine morning you find that there is more than
friendship between both of you and you call it love. Now, you decide to get
married!! You got permanent relationship!! You must live happily forever as in
the stories!! Isn’t it? Does this happen in reality? No. How come? Let us deal
with it and see how our investment performance is affected by our attachment to
relationship.
Love V/s Relationship
Relationship is a structure, and love is a foundation brick. So love relates, certainly, but never becomes a relationship. Love is a moment-to-moment process. Remember it. Love is a state of your being, not a relationship. There are loving people and there are unloving people. Unloving people pretend to love through the relationship. Loving people need not have to have any relationship – love is enough.
Be a
loving person rather than in a love relationship – because relationships happen
one day and disappear another day. They are flowers; in the morning they bloom,
by the evening they are gone. But if you are a loving person, you will
be there. So, you should be a loving person.
But people find it very difficult to be a loving person, so they create a relationship – and befool that way that "Now I am a loving person because I got married to my lady love!!" And the relationship may be just one of monopoly, possessiveness, and exclusiveness.
Relationship may be just out of fear, may not have anything
to do with love. Relationship may be just a kind of security – financial or
something else. The relationship is needed only because love is not there.
Relationship is a substitute.
Become alert! Relationship destroys love, destroys the very possibility of its birth.
Become alert! Relationship destroys love, destroys the very possibility of its birth.
How does this affect your investment perfomrance?
We believe in basic truth – “the way you
do anything, you will do everything.”
When relationship oriented person comes to the market – he will
talk about Return on Investments. He will create three separate entities – He /
His Investments and His Return on Investments.
In reality, there is only one entity – you and only “YOU”. “YOU” only become
husband / father / mother/ brother / friend / executive / businessman / managing
director etc. Same way “You” only become your Investments.
If you improve the quality of your “You”, it will get
reflected everywhere. You will become LOVE yourself. You will not need the
lables of relationship. Same way, when “You” is Investments – you will be happy
investing. You will be happy holding it. You will be happy in sharing. You will
not have to strive for return. It will just flow automatically. Just try.
The way relationship destroys the love, obsession for return
on investments stops you from investing freely.
