Dear Fellow Travellers,

Namaste! Our post on BHIM was eye-opening for some of the readers. Most agreed that they didn’t think about the FACTS of MAHABHARATA WAR – the way we shared. Today I am sharing some of the facts about RAVAN. I am surprised that most KATHAKAR who does the RAMAYAN KATHA do not share this fact about RAVAN. They focus on RAM only. But they forget – RAM and RAVAN are the two sides of the coin called LIFE. You can live your life anyway.

Who was RAVAN?

RAVAN was the son of Rishi VISHRAVA and RAKSHSHI Kakashi. Rishi Vishrava was the son of Saptarshi Pultsya, a manas Putra of Lord Bharma. RAKSHSHI Kaikeshi was the daughter of King Sumali. She wanted the most powerful son, so she boiled down to Rishi Vishrava and forced him to marry her (women used to do force marriage with men in the olden times also!!)

So, RAVAN was a combination of Brahman + Rakshasa.  He mastered the 4 VEDA and 6 Shastra under his FATHER – a total of 10, so he was also known as DASHANAN – master of 10 arts. JYOTISH was one of the 6 SHASHTRA he mastered!! 

What RAVAN did was something UNIQUE for GROWTH?

I often share the 5 factors of success given by LORD KRISHNA. They are YOUR VASTU / YOUR SELF / YOUR RESOURCES / Your SKILLS to use your resources and your FATE.

Ravan had mastered the 2^nd / 3^rd and 4^th factors ( YOURSELF / YOUR RESOURCES / YOUR SKILL SETS) of success as said by KRISHNA was mastered by him under the best GURU of his time. He was the best astrologer under the SUN in his time and his book RAVAN SAMHITA and LAL KITAB are still masterpieces for ASTROLOGY students.

How did RAVAN apply his knowledge of ASTROLOGY for his SUCCESS and become UNDEFEATABLE?

He was so powerful that he could defeat the INDRA and Other DEVTAS – so winning a human king was not a problem for him!! He could have easily made SWARG his KINGDOM or any part of India as well.  But still, he went till LANKA?

Why Lanka?

RAVAN was the SCHOLAR in real terms. He had not only mastered the 4 Veda and 6 Shastras – but he knew how to apply the same also!!

(Just to give perspective – his mother was a Princess and she could have married any king – but she chose Rishi Vishrava – as her father SUMALI was also a great astrologer)

As per his Horoscope – RAVAN started looking for a place and he found that he can get the maximum benefit of his stars when he stays in LANKA!! In recent times, Mukesh Bhai has taken 35 acres of the villa in London. Unless you are really ambitious – you can’t use the science of Vastu in the TRUE sense.

It was said in RAMAYANA – that all planets were his servants!! This was a poetic way of saying what RAVAN did. Normal guys picked up the poetic way as the reality – but the reality was RAVAN found out the proper VASTU of LANKA and aligned his stars with the VASTU. So, all stars were favourable to him!! They were not his servants as understood in normal parlance. They were favourable to him.

RAVAN was indomitable and he did many wins staying in LANKA. In fact, his son could also defeat Indra!! Due to this, his son MEGHNAAD was also known as INDRAJIT. This was the power of Applied VASTU and ASTROLOGY principles!!

Quality of life of RAM and RAVAN: -

Ram is the HERO of RAMAYAN and he will be worshipped for N number of yugas. But look at the qualities of his PERSONAL LIFE / HIS FAMILY LIFE / his 14-year VANVASS / his old age and the way he left this world.

While RAVAN lived in a PALACE, moved in his own plane, had a perfect family life and all family members were following him. His name was enough for most kings to surrender to him. He fought with HONESTY  and died like a king. Ram wanted to do WAR Winning YAGYA and he did it because he was a BRAHMIN. He didn’t do any CHEATING with RAM!! In fact, after the YAGYA – He blessed RAM that he will be able to WIN the RAVAN(that is his own defeat).

Ram and Krishna never used Astrology and Vastu. Why should we use it?

Many so-called intelligent and middle-class-minded guys argue like this when they have to spend the money or go out of the way to do the remedies.

What 20^th Century master trader JESSEE Livermore had said about SPECULATION is 100% applicable to NORMAL guys who are talking against astrology and Vastu. He said…

“The game of speculation is the most uniformly fascinating game in the world. But it is not a game for the stupid, the mentally lazy, the person of inferior emotional balance, or the get-rich-quick adventurer. They will die poor.”

The same thing is applicable to the NORMAL guy when he talks about ASTROLOGY and VASTU.

Most NORMAL guys are LAZY / they want something for nothing / they want the best but they don’t want to pay the best price / they don’t want to take efforts to learn something new from the BEST GURU / They want everything with comfort. If they have to go out of the way in terms of EFFORTS or PAYING MONEY, they will start talking about RAM and KRISHNA and the world is MAYA and other bullshit.

For the people who have not STUDIED HINDU shastra in the right perspective, let me educate them – RAM and KRISHNA are considered as INCARNATION of VISHNU and they are believed to have come to play the GAME(LEELA as we say in our SHASTRA).

If you don’t want to follow any of the ASTROLOGICAL or VASTU REMEDIES just because RAM and KRISHNA did not follow – then you must be ready to face the life they faced. They did not have any problems in their life because they knew they are doing LEELA (playing GAME), but have you reached their levels? If not, you need all the REMEDIES.

Who should use ASTROLOGY and VASTU?

1.   Most guys have a misconception that AYURVEDA and ASTROLOGY remedies are CHEAP in terms of money. Companies like PATANJALI and DABUR are giving a push to this belief. Real Chayvanprash can cost anything between Rs.13000 to Rs.90000 per kg / Real COW GHEE is costing around Rs.3000 per kg and above. Now, those who use DABUR and PATANJALI products will say these guys are looting. But there is a 1000% qualitative difference in these products compared to the above companies’ products.

In the olden times, there used to be RAJ JYOTISH and RAJ VAID. They were enrolled for KINGS services only. In modern times – USA Billionaire – JP MORGAN has said – “Astrology is for BILLIONAIRES and not for MILLIONAIRES”.

So, unless you are very ambitious to take the quality of your life to the next level or you want to become like most successful people, ASTROLOGY and VASTU are not for you.

2.   Another misconception is to approach astrologer is to approach him when one is in a problem. Astrology does help in your problem, but it is a SCIENCE of GROWTH. If you break the word JYOTISH – it has two words – JYOTI (light) and ISH (GOD). It means, it is a Light to take you to GOD. It is a science to take you to the MOKSHA, the ultimate level any human being can reach. So, it is a science of GROWTH of HUMAN Being. 

Why RAVAN was killed by RAM?

Ravan had the best of the knowledge, best of the technology to fight the war, best of the Vastu – then why he was killed? This is a typical MBA-type question. 

We are in the most auspicious PARYUSHAN PARVA and I have invested many months studying JAINISM from the best Jain scholar.

Just see 24 Tirthankaras were the son of the kings or kings when they left everything and went for the higher journey. They had the best of Worldly pleasures but they wanted something more best. 

RAVAN had the best of everything in his life. He wanted it even BEST – MOKSHA. Being an astrologer, he knew – if he was killed by RAM – he will get MOKSHA immediately. So, he arranged the game and brought SITAJI to LANKA. That’s why he did the WAR WINNING YAGYA for RAM and BLESSED him with Victory over him.

What Next?

RAVAN is an example of Doing like BHIM. He did not waste time discussing like Arjuna. His doing was so perfect that he could reach the MOKSHA while living the life of King. He used the power of Astrology and Vastu.
