How a typical Wood Cutter Became a Billionaire? The power of Modern Economy

Dear Fellow Travelers,

Namaste! Today I am sharing the facts of the modern economy. What is possible for a normal woodcutter is also possible for each of us and we too can climb to the top. Let me share a journey of a woodcutter and you can see what’s in it for you.

A typical Wood Cutter: -

He used to go to Jungle to cut the wood. He would make a pile of wood and sell it in the nearby town. He was barely able to meet his needs. When there were rains – he was not able to go as the wood will be wet. Many days he and his family were living without food.

This is also a story of the typical middle class. He is living month on month income. Many times, he does not get a salary or work and he and his family suffer. He is full of personal and other loans from friends and banks. Thanks to these loans he looks rich from the outside but inside he is full of insecurities and tensions.

2^nd Stage: -

A Monk was watching the plight of the Wood Cutter. He felt that he should do something for this guy. So, he said why don’t you go a little further. You may get something more precious and your life will be set. Woodcutter followed the advice and went a little ahead in the jungle. He found Copper. He got the copper and sold it. Now, he got the income for a week. He was happy. He will come every week and his life was set.

Looking at the plight of the Middle Class – a financial consultant will come to his help. He would suggest saving his money in small savings and insurance and things like that. With the savings – he will be able to sustain when he has no jobs and income. His tensions will be a little less now. He feels that he is in control of his life.

3^rd Stage: -

One day Monk called this woodcutter and asked him to go a little ahead. The woodcutter said I am happy. Monk said – you know what happened last time when I asked you to go ahead. So, follow me this time also. Wood Cutter went ahead and found out Silver mines. He picked up some silver and his 6 monthly expenses was taken care of. Now, he stopped coming and he started enjoying his life.

Our middle class will get confidence and he will find out something about Mutual Funds and other higher yield income. He will be happy as the return is more than the savings schemes and he sees that other middle-class people are also doing the same. He feels confident and goes ahead in that line. Now he is less dependent on his regular income as he has got the passive income.

4^th Stage: -

Again, Monk caught the person and said why don’t you go ahead little. This time Wood Cutter didn’t argue with the Monk and went ahead.  He found GOLD and his life was more than happy. He picked up gold which was enough for his lifetime. So, he stopped coming and started enjoying life. Bought new house and car and other luxuries of the life.

Having a passive income – our middle class will dabble into stocks and commodities trading. He will learn CHARTS and other things. He will make tons of money and his ego will expand. He will feel in control of his life and he will enjoy all possible luxuries of his life.

5^th Stage: -

Now, it was difficult to meet the woodcutter as he was not coming to Jungle. So, the Monk went to his house and caught hold of him. He said – why don’t you go ahead little. He said I am happy and I have more than what I can spend. Monk said – you know what happened to you whenever I had asked you to go ahead. So, woodcutter agreed reluctantly. He went ahead and found out Diamonds. Now, his generation will not need to worry about money. He started traveling in foreign countries / staying in five-star hotels and enjoying life.

Now, our newly rich friend will get hold of some esoteric investment ideas like Crypto and Art and other forms of advanced investing. He will make tons of money and his life will be zinga lala. He will have the best of luxury and live his life like king size.

6^th Stage: -

It was almost impossible to meet the woodcutter now. He was traveling. After some years Monk could meet him and asked him to go ahead little in the jungle. Now, this guy was not ready to listen to the Monk. But suddenly a question came to his mind. He asked the Monk – can I ask you a question? Monk said go ahead.

You knew about all the mines and you could have also made tons of money like me. How come you are not doing anything?

Monk Replied – I have got the BLISS and which is more than all the wealth of the world.

Our rich friend comes across a person like BUFFETT. He sees that this guy is not doing any activities and having a gala time. Once in a few years, he would buy something and sleep for the rest of the years.

He comes to know that Buffett kind of person just invests in the businesses they understand and like and allows the management to do all the work.

He also realizes that in stages number 1 to 5 – more money means more activities. He had to spend a lot of time on money management and other things. He lacked the PEACE of MIND and Quality time with the family.

Now, he starts to follow the Buffett Model and he reaches financial nirvana in the true sense.

What NEXT?
