Namaste! Our last post on GURU PURNIMA day was hit with the readers. They appreciated the way we ling BRHAMA - VISNU - MAHESH and PARBRHAMA. Thanks to all of them for taking the time and reading our post. Today we are dealing with an equally fascinating post on the death of BRUCE LEE and SUSHANT SINGH. There is still a MYSTERY about the death of BRUCE LEE and there are N number of theories given for the same. I think in the coming time we will also have a lot many theories for SUSHANT SINGH’s death.
Let us understand some most important technique from BRUCE LEE: -
When Bruce Lee was at his peak in his career, he gave a NO TECHNIQUE as the best TECHNIQUE for success in any area. I have experienced a rich reward by following his system. I am sharing the same for the larger benefit of the readers.
We try to study the events with some technique – say the death of Sushant Singh or Market rise and fall or Reliance deal. There are N number of TECHNIQUE and respective followers of the TECHNIQUE will die to prove the superiority of their Technique or kill others for their technique.
In the movie ENTER THE DRAGON – BRUCE LEE was pointing a finger to the moon and asked the STUDENT what does he see? Students replied – FINGER. He said as long as you see the finger – you will miss the heavenly beauties.
Same way as long as we stick to some TECHNIQUE – we will miss the ultimate EXISTENCE or Market Opportunities. That’s why he talked about NO TECHNIQUE, No Opponent, and No Mind.
Let me share the dialogues in the beginning of Movie “Enter the Dragon” with the SHAOLIN ABBOTT to explain his “NO TECHNIQUE”: -
Lee: Teacher?
Shaolin Abbott: I see your talents have gone beyond the mere physical level. Your skills are now at the point of spiritual insight. I have several questions.
Lee: A good fight should be like a small play, but played seriously. A good martial artist does not become tense, but ready. Not thinking, yet not dreaming. Ready for whatever may come. When the opponent expands, I contract. When he contracts, I expand. And when there is an opportunity, I do not hit. It hits all by itself. (Read as many times as you like)
Shaolin Abbott: Now, you must remember: the enemy has only images and illusions behind which he hides his true motives. Destroy the image and you will break the enemy.
This is equal to all the success literature you might have read in life. Let me deal with it.
Of the 1000s of books and material I have gone through – this is the SIMPLEST way to find success in investments or in life or in any other field of your choice.
1st Point: -
The main issue with a NORMAL guy is that “I WANT to Be SUCCESSFUL”.
As long as “I” exist – the other also exists. The way “You” want success – “other” also wants success. You are planning and following some STRATEGIES – he is also planning and doing some STRATEGIES. For you – YOU and SUCCESS are DIFFERENT. As long as you have this DUALITY – you can never become successful!!
(Just to take a leaf from LORD MAHAVIR – he got KAIWAL GYAN (KAIWAL means ONLY / GYAN means KNOWLEDGE – ONLY KNOWLEDGE is LEFT). HE did not get KNOWLEDGE. He became KNOWLEDGE. As BRUCE LEE says – NO “I”)
So, the first step is to TRANSFORM yourself from – I want SUCCESS to I AM SUCCESS. This is going from DOING to BEING.
2nd point: -
When you say I WANT SUCCESS – you are saying others should not get what I HAVE. ROLEX / PATEK PHILLIP Watches gives you happiness only because most of the guys are not able to afford it!!
In the share market when you say you have made X amount – it means somebody has lost that X amount. So, your success comes from the FAILURE of somebody.
This happens when you have a CONCEPT of OTHERS and I. As long as you have these concepts – you can never follow TRUE AHIMSA or TRUE RELIGION. Just think.
3rd Point: -
When you say “I want SUCCESS” you are saving/protecting “I” while you go in search of SUCCESS. Here “I” is PRIMARY and SUCCESS is secondary. And as long as “I” is protected – You will never become SUCCESS and you will FEEL something is missing in the END – (once you got everything you wanted). This will deprive you of the HAPPINESS of being successful. Many successful guys go towards DRUGS due to this.
Those who become successful like this – they have more problems NOW – as they have to PROTECT two things their “I” and their “SUCCESS” (MONEY/PRESTIGE/BEAUTIFUL WIFE).
Sushant Singh might have this issue – to protect his “I” and to protect his “success”. Had he become SUCCESS – he would not have any tension from BAN by some Bollywood biggies. But he could not.
NOW LET US DEAL WITH OPPONENT: -
Say you have transformed from I want SUCCESS to I am SUCCESS – so for you, there is no OPPONENT.
But the other guys are still in the lookout of OLD way of success – which you were following in PAST (i.e. before you BECAME SUCCESS). So, for them– there “I” exist and for them, you are an OPPONENT. So, you must KNOW how to deal with them.
Here is the TECHNIQUE (Actually NO TECHNIQUE):-
1. A good fight should be like a small play but played seriously.
It is a PLAY or LEELA as known In Indian terminology. You are playing it seriously not because you want something out of it – but because you are forced to play – thanks to the NORMAL guy in front of you seeing you as his opponent. (Keep this in mind).
E.g. Your 5-year-old son wants to fight with you. What will you do? You will just play and lose to make him happy. Am I right?
2. A good martial artist does not become tense, but ready.
Since you do not want to GAIN anything out of the above, you are not worried about LOSSES also. So, you are NEVER TENSED. You are just prepared.
3. Not thinking, yet not dreaming. Ready for whatever may come.
Not thinking and not dreaming. This point is called the SHUBH MUHURTA. Traditionally, we go to an astrologer for SHUBH MUHURTA. But the moment your mind stops, that moment is shubh muhurta and you should begin any new things with NO MIND.
When you invest – you are always thinking about how much I will gain and dreaming about what will you do with that money!!
Here you are just ready for whatever happens. This can only happen when “I” is not there and you are just PLAYING for the sake of playing.
Just see BUFFETT is perfectly okay if the market closes for 10 years after his investments are done. He can say this only because for him – Investment is a SERIOUS PLAY. He is able to invest is a SUCCESS for HIM!! He has nothing to gain!! (Most guys will find this difficult to understand and digest). He donated most of his money with a small portion to all his children.
4. When the opponent expands, I contract. When he contracts, I expand.
You just do the opposite of what the market is doing. If it goes down – you just go on buying and if goes up – you just go on selling.
5. And when there is an opportunity, I do not hit. It hits all by itself.
This is the most important factor – most guys do not understand. He is talking about BEING and not DOING. As long as you have “I” – you will do. But when you become SUCCESS – you are in BEING!! Just think. You don’t have to do anything; it just happens on its own.
I would have gone through at least 50 commentaries to understand the famous slok of GEETA.
Karmanye Vadhikaraste, Ma phaleshou kada chana,
Ma Karma Phala Hetur Bhurmatey Sangostva Akarmani
Most commentators were explaining – do without expectations and things like that. But DOING can’t happen without expectation. It’s BEING that can happen.
If you are reading this SLOK from DOING PARADIGM – you will never be able to follow what Lord KRISHNA says. For this, you have to go into BEING first!!
NOW the MASTER STROKE: -
ABBOTT is talking about TRUE AHIMSA –
The enemy has only images and illusions behind which he hides his true motives. Destroy the image and you will break the enemy.
You are not there to KILL somebody. You just find out the hidden motive and destroy them. TRUE AHIMSA.
When a market goes down or up – a lot of analyses come up WHY this and WHY NOT this. Your whole life will be short – if you understand each and every reason. Moreover, you will have so many factors to consider that you will fail to analyse correctly. You will get puzzled.
Don’t look at why they are doing? Just find out WHAT they are doing? It will be EASIER and more ACCURATE to find out. Once you know that – your action will be AUTOMATIC!!
What NEXT?
This is the biggest gift BRUCE LEE has given to all of us through his MOVIE. He does not want you to stop at getting SUCCESS. He wants you to become a SUCCESS!! This way BRUCE LEE is still alive in our heart. Same way SUSHANT SING will also be alive in our heart with his movies.
