Greetings from Hitesh! Recently I was reading Howard Marks Memo. He is also a very famous and knowledgeable billionaire investor. Total Memo is dedicated to future predictions. He has asked a lot of questions – which has no answers today. He says – if you can’t answer them precisely, you can’t predict the future. He has quoted some of the best people’s thoughts and I am just representing them as they were written in his MEMO.

What are the FACTS?
Let us look at the facts. By definition to be an investor means taking a call on future events. If I am investing in some company – I must be bullish on that company to start with. Am I right? If I am bullish it means I am predicting the future. Simple.
All the above guys are super successful in their areas. Had they not predicated the TREND, they would not have invested, and had they not invested – they would not have earned BILLIONS. They are all Billionaires and they all are SELF MADE guys. They have certainly predicted the FUTURE in their own business or investments accurately and that is the reason they made tons of money.
So, are they lying to us or they want to discourage us by saying – you can’t predict the future so that we don’t become Billionaires?
What is their HIDDEN message when they say above?
The future is nothing but the results of your actions/efforts taken today reflected tomorrow. So, there is a SMART way to manage or predict the future is taking SMART actions today. So, when a super smart person like BUFFETT says – he can’t predict the future – all he is saying is that you don’t have to predict the future – if you are taking proper actions today.
If you have the support of these 5 things – you don’t need to predict the future - because you know the FUTURE.
