Whom do you follow while investing – KRISHNA / ARJUN or BHIM?

Greetings from Hitesh! I know the answer of the above question could be simple “Nobody”. However, I am not hinting them as a person. I am hinting them as an attitude in you. I am sure after reading my post, you will find out who, you are following.

Let us start dealing with them one by one.

Lord Krishna:-

Lord Krishna stands for an investor who has Vision / Intelligence and Guts. He has thought all possible scenarios before investing. He is operating from the level of Beyond Thought. He sees the last possible outcome. He is dynamic enough to change his stand as per the changing conditions without any grudge or complains.

(If you study KRISHNA’s way of dealing with death of BHISHMA /GURU DHRON / KARNA or JAYDRATHA – you can realize the combination of above qualities in his approach).

He knows the truth - Market price is slave of business performance - as long as businesses he is investing are performing well, he is not ready to give it a second thought. His goal is Wealth Creation.

He becomes greedy when prices are down and most others are fearful of investing. He is fearful when others are greedy.

You will find him at EASE always.

Arjun:-

Arjun stands for an investor who is combination of INTELLIGENCE and GUTS. He keeps on Thinking before investing. He invests for profit!! If there is no possibility of profit  - he is not interested in investing. He is not ready to understand BUSINESS CYCLE, ECONOMY and other factors which can affect the price of a company shares. He lacks the vision – but has the super EXECUTION capacity.

(In the MAHABHARAT WAR - ARJUN was not ready to kill his brothers due to fear of SIN).

The positive aspect of this guy is, he is open-minded. He appoints consultant. He asks lot of questions before following him. Once he is satisfied he gets busy in execution. He is ready to pay the price for right advise.

He is ready to listen, learn and change his investment style as per the advise of his consultant. He remains committed till he gets the expected results. His goal is to be successful at any cost without LOSS.

Bhim:-

Bhim stands for a person with LOT OF GUTS. He has no VISION and no intelligence. He is blessed with one RAW GUTS.

He can’t think. He is not ready to appoint consultant or listen to anybody. His only way of success is to project an investment as good or bad. Once he projects the investments as good, he will buy in tons. If the prices go up…he will make money…if goes down…he will curse his luck or the persons who gave him Free Tips.

The positive point of this guy is - he has lot of enthusiasm for investments; he has lot of money, lot of dedication, lot of guts, lot of trust in GOD (how can you invest lakhs or crores on just tips). He has no particular goal and he keeps changing his goal as per the price movement.

Where Do You Stand?

Give just 5 minutes to yourself. Run through all your past investment ventures with an open mind. I am sure you will get the answer.

Over the last 25 years – I have come across lot of people with money in the market. When they come they have lot of enthusiasm, greed to make fast money. They project profit and invest in any tips they get on their way. When they lose – they curse their luck / the TIP giver.

They are little bit SELF-CENTERED and they have EAT ALONE MENTALITY. They are not ready to follow ARJUN’s approach. They act from the PARADIGM of BHIM only.

What Next?

Once you know the REASON of your FAILURE in any area – you will have the RECIPE for SUCCESS in any area.

Know your self. Find out where do you stand between KRISHNA / ARJUN or BHIM? More you know, more progress can be made from BHIM to ARJUN and from ARJUN to KRISHNA.
