PRICE of Bitcoin will HIT the ROOF, Should you invest in it?

Greetings from Hitesh! Our post on SASIKALA NATRAJAN’s VASTU – available on our blog site www.hiteshmparikh.com - has been appreciated by research minded people. I am holistically thinking to make my fellow travellers life as smooth as possible. In the process, I am doing research in the ANCIENT sciences and sharing my observations with you all.

Many readers have asked us to share our view on BITCOIN. So, today I am going to talk about BITCOIN.

What is BITCOIN? How it Functions? How to MINE it?

https://youtu.be/lGjF0waLW90

Just copy paste these links and you will get to know all you wanted to know about BITCOIN. I don’t want to deal with which is already available. I am going to deal with the investment aspects.

You can find out other links also for BITCOINS on WEB and look into it. Above two links are the BEST. Just take time to go through that.

Why BITCOIN price will hit the ROOF?

Look at the major countries of the world. They are deep in DEBT and there is no way that they can come out of their DEBT in short term or even in foreseeable future. This will invite some kind of CURRENCY REALLIGNMENT and some currencies or country will go out of the MAP or cease to exist. In such a scenario BITCOIN may provide stability to your money. Naturally, demand will move up and the supply of BITCOIN is fixed so the VALUE MUST MOVE UP. The logic looks so appealing that many guys in India have started accumulating BITCOINS.

I keep on receiving messages to start BITCOIN mining business and earn bitcoins. They offer commission also for getting clients hooked to them. Many are arranging meetings in 5 star hotels to woo the common guys.

What is WORLD EXPERIENCE?

China the biggest market of bitcoin is trying to stop the use of bitcoin as it means that people are engaging in money laundering activities.

As on 11th FEB this was the status of some of the Chinese exchanges. Most are suspended or closed.

On the other hand JAPAN is trying to legalize the BITCOIN after following due LEGAL process.

In short, the demand will increase for BITCOINS as more and more people are demanding BITCOINS.

The issue is not about the DEMAND or TECHNOLOGY. The issue is should you invest or not.

What is our VIEW ON BITCOIN investment?

I am a very small investor when I look at the bigger guys. However, my BASICS of investing is par excellence with any of the biggest investor and you should read my opinion on BITCOIN with these two things in mind.

I have looked into the activities of all the big investors and hedge fund managers. I found that they are not investing in BITCOINS. If I can say that price will hit the ROOF, I am sure they are 1000 times smarter than me and they would have also thought about it way back whet in was launched in 2009.  How come they did not invest into BITCOIN?

1.   It’s a CURRENCY and not an ASSET:- It means it has no INTRINSIC value. We have just passed through DEMONETISAION experience. How much value you would give to Rs.500 /Rs.1000 old notes now? ZERO, am I right? Notes did not have any value in it. It had the perception of VALUE as long as RBI was supporting it. Same goes for BITCOINS. As long as people keep in accepting it – it will have value but the value is going to be decided by VELOCITY of MONEY and that is not in anybody’s control.
2.   The basic investment principle says to invest in something having an intrinsic value:-  If I am buying LAND / PROPERTY / SHARES / GOLD / NATURALL RESOURCES – it has some intrinsic value and that can be realized by enjoying that or by keeping as a store of value, as they have something intrinsic in them. BITCOIN is a CONCEPT and nothing else.
3.   Control on the PRICE:- You can not control the price of the BITCOINS nor predict the price as there is no fundamental value in it. We can’t control the price of shares also but we know that price is a slave of earning, in case of shares. As long as earning are supportive – price will move up sooner than later. In case of BITCOINS – this is not applicable.
4.   CREATOR of BITCOIN:- It is believed that the guy who created this is Mr.SATOSHI. He is nowhere seen by anybody so far. My gut feelings says there must be some powerful forces behind this – looking at the support it is getting from Wall Street guys.
5.   PAYTM experience:- During the month of DECEMBER – those who were registered on PAYTM and accepting payments did good business. Buying BITCOINS are like adding money into your WALLET, the way you are adding rupees in your PAYTM wallet. Wealth can be created by investing in PAYTM Company and not by transferring money into your wallet.  The same applies to BITCOIN. I would like to invest in BITCOIN EXCHANGES or BITCOIN issuing company and not in BITCOIN as such.

What did WARRNE BUFFETT said way back in 2014 about BITCOIN?

"Stay away. Bitcoin is a mirage. It's a method of transmitting money. It's a very effective way of transmitting money and you can do it anonymously and all that. A check is a way of transmitting money, too. Are checks worth a whole lot of money just because they can transmit money? Are money orders? You can transmit money by money orders. People do it. I hope bitcoin becomes a better way of doing it, but you can replicate it a bunch of different ways and it will be. The idea that it has some huge intrinsic value is just a joke in my view."

Buffett says Bitcoin is a very fast anonymous money order. Companies that send money orders make money off of them, so investing in the companies that control the money orders makes sense (the Coinbases and Bitpays of the world) but the money orders themselves (i.e. Bitcoins) aren't worth buying as an investment.

People often compare it to Internet protocols that enabled the development of email and the World Wide Web as we know it. But protocols and the "Internet" don't make money; the valuable systems built on top of them do. Buffett is essentially saying Bitcoin is a protocol like TCP/IP that isn't a money maker, and is encouraging investors not to drop $600 bucks/coin (even if unlike TCP/IP, the supply of Bitcoin is limited).

What NEXT?

Whether I say yes or no – the fact is the price of BTC will move up like anything due to world conditions. I would pass this opportunity and would prefer GOLD as a hedge against world situations.

In 1999 – I stayed away from K-10 stocks and still made good money. In 2006-2007 – I stayed away from REAL ESATATE Stocks and still made good money. I am willing to pass BTC for HERD FOLLOWING investors.

You can decide for yourself.

Have a HAPPY INVESTING.
