How to go into the
STAGE of BEING while investing?
Greetings
from Hitesh! I am happy with the words of appreciation to my last week’s Post
on EASTERN FORMULA for SUCCESS. Many are cleared with the concept of BEING and
DOING – after reading the same. But there were readers who wanted more. So, I
got above questions from MANY on SUNDAY and MONDAY. So, here it goes.
Let
me quote a SLOK of GEETAJI, which had created controversy in the WEST when it
was translated first time in ENGLISH
Sloka 38 (Chapter 2)
sukha dukhe same’ kritva labha labhou jaya jayou tatho yuddhaya
yujyasva naivam papam avapsyasi
Having an equal mind in happiness-sorrow; gain-loss;
victory-defeat; engage in battle and thereby you will not incur sin.
When
GEETA was first time translated in ENGLISH and went abroad – the WESTERN MIND (ETHINCS
and MORAL ORIENTED/ Influenced by 10 Commandments) – found it very difficult to
accept that ARJUN can kill so many people and he will not get the SIN!!
They
criticized KRIHNA for instigating ARJUN for KILLING so many people – because
they READ THE LAST LINE – which I have underlined. Their DOING oriented mind
could not comprehend the first one and half line!!
Jainism,
which is the parallel religion along with HINDUISM, also blamed KRISHNA and put
him into the HELL. However, realizing the above 1 and half line – they have
made him 1st TIRTHANKAR in the NEXT KALP. So, KRIHNA will be their
FIRST GOD in the next KALP. Balancing ACT.
It
is said that all our SCRIPTURES are written in CODED language and it has some
SECRET meanings. The above SLOK is the example of the same.
As
long as you are applying your DOING mind – you will also reach to the same
conclusion – he killed / so he is a SINNER.
But
when you apply BEING MIND – you will understand the beauty of what KRISHNA
said. Let me explain this with CLEAN INDIA MOVEMENT.
Now let me DEAL with
NARENDRA MODI’s SWACCH BHARAT CAMPAIGN:-
About
one and half year back he started with CLEAN INDIA MOVMENT. We all joined in
them. Now, we are keeping GARBAGE at proper places and there are agencies,
which will collect GARBAGE from our area and take it to some remote place – out
of city – and dump it. Am I right?
If
you look at your AREA – it is CLEANER now. But look at the EARTH or EXISTENCE –
it has two parts – one is your so-called CLEANER AREA and other is your city’s
DUMP YARD. Just see EXISTENCE can’t CHOOSE from GOOD and BAD. It has both the
things together at every time. If you keep all AREA with some GARBAGE as we
used to keep before MODI or do two partitions as planned by Mr.Modi – for
EXISTENCE (EARTH) the QTY of GARBAGE is the SAME!!
EXISTENCE
is BEING and not DOING. While you are in BEING – you become automatically
DETACHED from the GOOD or BAD / PROFIT or LOSS.
“How to go into the STAGE
of BEING while investing?”
This
is a question of DOING oriented mind. You can’t DO anything to go to BEING. It
just happens on its own.
However,
our spiritual masters – knowing that most of the minds are doing oriented –
they have developed various techniques to follow. The idea is simple – by
following TECHNIQUES, you will get TIRED / FRUSTRATED and you will realize that
you are NOBODY. Your efforts can’t take you there. You will lose your EGO and
you will surrender to the existence and when you surrender from within – you
will enter into BEING.
(If you have lost something – you tried to find out everywhere in
your home and in spite of your trying / making your family members also to
search for the same – you do not find. You will conclude that you have lost.
You will leave your efforts. As soon as you stop the efforts – your mind will
tell you to look again – and what – you will find it. I am sure you would have
experienced something like this. This way you enter into being!!).
Rather
then understanding this secret – most heads of the religions are busy proving
their TECHNIQUE is superior!! All TEHCNIQUES are equally good and equally
useless – the fun is to get FRUSTRATED with the SAME as fast as possible.
How BEING
Oriented person does investments?
Whichever
TECHNIQUE you follow for investments – you have to do with a DOING mind only.
But you will do this with a purpose of LOK KALYAN. You will use the results for
the larger good.
Look
at Buffett and other billionaires – they are donating major portion of their
wealth for the benefits of under-privileged. They have nothing to GAIN for
themselves and NOTHING to lose for themselves.
Here the
focus is to take out the best potential you have / use it to the maximum so
that you can contribute to the society maximum.
What NEXT?
Most
normal investors are getting affected by the losses and profit equally. Because
of linking of their efforts to profit and loss – they miss the larger picture
or biggest contribution they can make to the society or to their coming
generations.
My
whole purpose is to make you aware about the larger goals or purpose for which
you can invest your money.
If you
want to make really big money – you will need right kind of mindset. With my
POSTS – I am just trying to do that. I am not here to PREACH you or TEACH you
something NEW. You all are successful in your own way and I am sure you must
have read above things some time or the other.
