Mulla Naseeruddin V/s. Laxmi Mittal

Greetings from Hitesh! Yesterday’s article Think & Grow Rich to Awaken the Giant within – What They Did Not Teach You?” has been appreciated like anything. Thanks for the same. Today I am going to share a story with you. Here it goes.

Mulla Naseeruddin’s Story:-

Mulla was the only educated guy in his village. So, whenever anybody wanted to write a letter – they used to go to Mulla. One day – a villager went to Mulla asking him to write a letter. Mulla replied – “I can not write for 8 Days. My Right Leg’s Thumb is injured!!”

The villager said – “Do you think I am a fool. I know you need hand to write and not leg.”

Mulla said – “You do not understand……once I write, I will only have to take this letter to the next village to read. Nobody will be able to read my writings!!”

Have You Ever Read a Research Report by FII analysts?

If you have, you will come to know what mulla was writing!!
Like a villager I have failed to understand their way of communications. I understand simple Buy / Sell / Hold. But I do not understand – Reduce / Neutral / Our Performer / Under Performer!! Moreover, the report has 15 to 50 pages and many things are repeated with Charts plus Tables and other data.

It is believed that more data means more thorough research and more perfect call.

Have You Heard Media Analyst Giving Recommendations?

It’s their daily ritual. Let me share you a typical example on recommendation – Buy XYZ Ltd above 800. Tgt 810. Stop 785.

If you follow this call – you can earn Rs.10 and lose Rs.15!! If you earn Rs.10 by stroke of luck – most of it will go to brokerages and taxes!!

How Laxmi Mittal Did His Investments in Russia?

Long back I read his book. So I am writing this incidence from my memory. He was sitting in a Hotel with the seller. When they come to conclusion about the deal – Mr.Mittal did not have paper to write down the terms and conditions of the deal. He also did not have his team members in the discussion.

So, he took out his hand-kerchief wrote down the terms and conditions. The deal was done and he invested billions in Russia!!

Confusion V/s. Clarity & Conviction:-

Mulla stands for Confusion and Mittal stands for Clarity and Conviction.

At Destiny Management all our communications are full of clarity and conviction. Whether it was our call of 35000 Sensex / Call on Narendra Modi’s Effectiveness / Our call on Indian Destiny or our latest call Why Indian Market will keep on going up up and up – you will find they are mostly of 2 pages with clarity on what we want to convey to our readers.

It is quite possible that my reader may not agree – but he will never be confused on what we are trying to convey.

How we help our clients to Invest with Clarity and Conviction?

We simply suggest them to be with us for minimum three years if they really want to make big money and master the art of investments

The period of three years has nothing to do with the market or investment cycle. It has to do with the client’s investment psychology. Investment is 90% psychology and 10% is your research reports and stuff like that!! We are earning by contributing 100% in your life and not just 10% like normal consultants!!

We have observed that all would be clients generally says yes to the above conditions in the first meeting. So, to test their conviction we tell them the second aspect of dealing with us. It is also simple – asking our fees at the time of joining.

We have observed that those clients who work with us for 3 years minimum – have excelled not only in investments but also in other areas of their life.

What Next?

Destiny Management is built on the Tripod of Transparency, Track Record and Trust. I am sure you would appreciate these qualities while investing your hard earned money. Do write to us.
