“Woh 7 Din”, “Yeh 7 Din” & Normal Investor

Greetings from Hitesh! Hope you all had a lovely start of the week. In July 2012, I had talked about “Woh 7 Din”. Today I am going to deal about “Yeh 7 Din”.

But first let us take a brief view of the movie and normal investors.

Woh 7 Din:-

This was the first movie of Anil Kapoor. The story is offbeat….

The guy comes to Mumbai to become a REAL Musician….he stays at a place on rent and falls in love with the daughter of Landlord.

First he rejects her love as he wanted to become a musician...but later on both decided to elope. When they were planning to get eloped, they caught and the daughter was forced to married a Doctor….already having a daughter from his previous marriage.

Doctor comes to know about his wife’s love and promises her to get married to her love once his mother dies.(He had married this girl to fulfill his mother’s wish only)

When his mother dies….Doctor ask the girl….but the girl refuses to get separated from Doctor….as she had started loving his daughter and also it was against the Indian Culture!!

Lessons for Normal Investors:-

All investors start their journey to become REAL Investors. Their first love is Making Tons of MONEY.

But when market gives them opportunity, first they refuse. Bye the time they realize….what market was giving them was their first love(an opportunity to make tons of Money)…..REAL Investors would have picked up that. Now, they have to wait till the real investors sell those shares when market comes down….but alas…those shares also falls in love with the REAL Investors…..and Normal investors have to do with Mutual Funds and SIPs!!

When Market comes down, it gives them an opportunity to invest (Same way doctor asked his wife to get her married to her first love when his mother died). However, bye this time Normal investors also falls in love with the KIDS of market…Mutual Funds and SIPs….and they remain NORMAL INVESTORS and not REAL INVESTORS.

Now let me talk about “Yeh 7 Din”:-
