Do you know that one thing by knowing which tons of money can be made in Equities?

 

Dear Investors,

 

Namaste! Just read a beautiful story in Shrimad Bhagavatam. Rishi Udallak sent his son SVET KETU to learn various SHASTRAS. He learned the same in GURUKUL and after completing his studies he was coming back. Looking at his walk from the distance – Rishi Udallak found that his son has become PROUDY with the knowledge. ( this can be observed from our behaviour also – when we come home after graduation – we feel we know something better than our parents). So, when he came home – Rishi asked him about his knowledge. He said I know all the shastras and I am master in the same. You can take my test.

 

Rishi asked him a simple question : - Have you known that one thing by knowing which all SHASTRAS can be known automatically? 

 

He said I never heard of that thing in the GURUKUL. So, his father sent him back to know the same. 

 

How to apply to the investments? 

 

When I observe the investors from various walks of life they may have some or all of the following skills.

 

1.  They are master CHART readers. 

2.  They are masters in options and futures strategies.

3.  They are masters in reading the BALANCE SHEETS.

4.  They are masters in keeping track of the news. Some of the guys I know keep 21 news screens open on their computer and keep following the news. 

5.  They are masters in networking and they may have tons of selective information.

6.  They are spending hours on the TV and other online platforms and keep listening to the analysis of the MEDIA EXPERTS. 

 

If you have any or all of the above skills – congratulate yourself. My observation says these kinds of investors don’t make tons of money for life time. If at all they make money in one transaction – they will lose the same in the other transactions. I am making a generalized statement which is applicable to 70-80% of the investors. Particular readers may or may not have the same results like 80% of the above lot. 

 

What is the one thing you must know about investments?

 

If you look at the above 6 factors – they are talking about the COMPANY or ECONOMY. The study may be superb but it is indirect study. Say your chart says BREAK OUT is coming – breakout may come also and you make money in a given transaction but you can’t be sure every time. 

 

The point is – those who invest in CRORES – they will not rely on the above indicators. They want to know something by knowing that they can sleep peacefully for years after investing. 

 

Let me share an example of Reliance Jio. Mukesh bhai took the license in 2011 by paying billions. Set up the network of 6 long years and launched the services in 2017. That too FREE for one year. 

 

What did he know about MOBILE business in 2011 that he could wait patiently for years – invest billions in capital and day today expenses? 

 

In 2022 – he committed his capital for the GREEN ENERGY GIGA project. It will be fully functional by 2030. Reliance will start making money after 2030!! How many of you will be ready to wait for 10 years? 

 

Buffett invested USD 34 billion in NORTH BURLINGTON in 2009. His vision for this company was for 2050. 100% Buffett will not be there to see 2050. But what he knew about this company so he committed a big sum of USD 34 billion in 2009. 

 

The smartest of the smart don’t follow the above 6 factors. They focus on the business the company is doing and the potential of that business in the coming future. 

 

They know one thing for sure – if the business is good – the market will give a higher P/E in the coming time without any doubt.

 

Investment done after knowing just one factor as mentioned above – will surely make you super rich. The only condition is you must have tons of PATIENCE also. 

 

When you want to make big money – always remember one rule – SLOW IS ALWAYS FAST.
