What is Gudi Padva Horoscope saying about the coming year?

Dear Fellow Travellers,

Namaste! As per Sanatan Dharma - Gudi Padva is the day when  Lord Brahma created the SRUSHTI. Gudi Padva is celebrated on the 1^st day of Hindu CHAITRA mass. That day is coming on 9^th April 2024. As per the Hindu system we always consider the starting of the TITHI with respect to the Sunrise of the day. So, whatever is the TITHI at the time of Sunrise is the TITHI for the day. However, in practice TITHI do not follow the Sunrise. They are calculated as per the astronomy principles. 

So, the actual 1^st TITHI starts at 11.51pm on 8^th April 2024. I have prepared the horoscope of the above date and time with Mumbai as the place. You can prepare, if you wish. or just read the main points. 

Before we deal with the horoscope – let me tell you that as per our system – we have given each year the name. That name is supposed to be the crux of the year which is starting. The New year is known as KRODHI – meaning ANGER.

Now, just by reading the name ANGER – you can say that in this year we will see ANGER expressed in various forms. As per astrology KAM ( Desire), KRODH(Anger) and Lobha( Greed)  are represented by 3^rd house / 6^th house and 11^th house respectively. 

If desire is satisfied – your LOBHA to get that more will increase. If desire is not satisfied – KRODHA comes into the place. Looking at the Election Scenario world over ( 50% of the world population is going for the election this year) many will get their desires fulfilled and many will have failures. Those who are losing or those who lose will show their anger in tons. 

Look at the scenario in BHARAT – some 29 odd parties have come together to fulfil their LOBHA of gaining the power back from Modi Ji. They will apply each and every trick in politics to outsmart the fellow candidates. Naturally this will lead to more ANGER. 

What happened in the last KRODHI years?

Last KRODHI years were 1904/05 and 1964/65. 

1904/1905 :- 

1.   Russo Japanese war started.

2.   First partition of BENGAL was done in India by Lord Curzon. 

3.   The ABHINAV BHARAT SOCIETY was established by VEER SAVARKAR JI to fight against British Rule. 

4.   Revolution breaks out in Russia.

 So, the anger was present.

1964/1965:- 

1.   India and Pakistan war. 

2.   John F Kennedy was assassinated. 

3.   Lalbahadur Shastri ji takes over as PM. Incidentally he was born in 1904. 

4.   Vishva Hindu Parishad was established. 

So, anger was there in full force. Number 3 in the above is included because it’s a common link in 1904 and 1964.

Now, what will happen in 2024-25? Let us see the horoscope?

The most important house in the horoscope is 4^th house. We see there are 5 planets. Sun and Moon just met. They crossed the Rahu in the last 4 days. Neptune ( I call it higher Venus) and Venus are also sitting. 

When we study the countries – 4^th house represents - the nation's natural resources, agriculture, mines, minerals, landed properties, peace, general and political stability, natural calamities, educational institutions, law and order, housing and communal harmony. 

The 4th house is afflicted by RAHU as seen. Now let us see the 4^th house lord – JUPITER is in MESH RASHI and will meet URANUS – the planet Uncontrolled action and disruptions. This means the 4^th house lord is also indicating negative events for each of the above areas in INDIA. Study the areas and you will find that something negative will happen in the above areas. 

Now let us see the 3^rd house of the horoscope: - 

 

The third house rules leadership, the communication of the Government with the public, means of communications in the country including transport, media, telecommunications and information technology.  

 

Since Saturn is there – overall things will be in control and there will be newer and better ways in the above areas. However, at the start of the year – Saturn is with MARS. This means our communication system / transportation system may see some or the other negative events. Some of our major infrastructure facilities may be damaged or affected for sure.  

 

Now, let us see the 5^th house: - 

 

The fifth house rules intellectuals, speculative nature of the people, investments, stock exchange, children, population, universities, morals and values of the people.

 

The 5^th house is occupied by MERCURY / JUPITER and URANUS. 

 

Mercury is the planet of trading. Guru is the planet of Finance. So, nothing to worry about. The worry is Uranus. It means - the market will be volatile to start with. (as such election years are always volatile). But the investors who are the smartest + luckiest will make the money of their life. Remember me in March 2025.  

Now the only house which has a planet is 10^th house.

The tenth house rules executive, parliament, administration, foreign trade, law and order. The close afflictions to the tenth house or its lord by the malefic planets spoil the reputation and indicate setbacks for the international position of the country.

Ketu is there in 10^th house. Venus – Neptune – Sun – Moon – Rahu are aspecting the 10^thhouse. This means people will be full of DESIRES and not ready to go out of their comfort levels to achieve them. This will lead to ANGER. 

This also means the top business houses or billionaires will feel the heat / top leaders will feel the challenges. There will be a marked erosion in the wealth of the wealthiest persons.(of course, depending on their personal luck).

The way GERMANY and The USA were crying for Kejriwal – we may have many more such incidents which may affect India’s image and the top leaders' image for a short time. 

What is the conclusion?

1.   Go out of your comfort levels to achieve your dreams. Remember – No Pain. No Gain.

2.   Jupiter in 5^th house to start with says learn new skill sets. Since Jupiter is aspecting 9^thhouse – it also says – new skill sets will lead to BHAGYODAY ( rise of your luck) 

3.   Have a backup plan in case the internet or communication fails or is stopped by the government for some reason for a short period of time. Cash will be the king.  

4.   The year will provide a lot of short cut money making opportunities in various areas. Take advantage of the same to the extent they are not illegal. If you consciously enter into illegal activities – you will pay a severe price for sure.
