Dear Fellow Travellers,

Namaste! In my practice of dealing with individuals of all levels and learning from historical events – one question that is the most often asked in various ways is – Why have I done that? Why did this happen to me? Why I did not make the right decision at the right moment? What is stopping me from going ahead in my career / my relationships and my wealth? I am sure you would also have come across these kinds of questions from your near and dear or you might also have asked these kinds of questions sometime in the past. Let us deal with the science behind the same. 

The basic psychology behind the above questions: - 

The ultimate goal of the above questions is to make some person / some situations / some events or some outside factor responsible for your wrong actions / missed opportunities or losses. This way the mind gets the solace that I was right but the other things were not supportive so the particular negative events happened in my life/investments or relationships. 

If you are thinking that you are alone doing that let me make you happy. 

The chief Villain in MAHABAHART - Duryodhan had said in Court Room: -

“I knew what dharma was, what adharma was, but I could never follow dharma, nor abstain from adharma; it was as though some powerful deity was seated in my heart and I acted as directed by him).” 

All he was saying  – was he did what he did because some POWERFUL forces in his HEART made him do it. What a JOKE? 

Now let us see WHAT the HERO of MAHABHARATA said? 

In chapter 3, verse 36, Arjun asks Lord Krishna  

Then, what compels people to commit sin against their wishes, O Vaarshneya, as if commanded forcefully? 

Arjuna too wanted to find out the REASON so he could blame it for his FAILURES. If you think these two are too far away in history. Let me share a recent example. 

KARL MARX could become a hero because he gave the one simple slogan – all your suffering is due to SOCIETY. No doubt whether one follows communism or not – he likes what the MARX said – I am poor because of the society and wrongdoing of the leaders. 

Listen to any hard-core criminals and they will give you 10-15 reasons for why they had become CRIMINAL. 

People go to astrologers so they can blame their planets for their sufferings or wrongdoings. 

In simple words – when something wrong is happening with somebody – it gives him a lot of relief if somebody tells him that he is not responsible but some other person or factors are responsible. 

What is the SCIENCE behind your suffering? 

Science tells us that there are electrons/protons and neutrons in an atom!!

In the Hindu religion, they are known as Sattva – Rajas, and Tamas. Rajas gives you speed / Tamas stops you and Sattva Balances them both!!

In poetic language, they are known as Brahma / Vishnu and Mahesh. Brahma creates / Mahesh ends and Vishnu balances them both!! 

Let me share an example of a CAR: -

You need three things to drive a car – Driver / Accelerator and Brake. The driver starts and drives the CAR / Accelerator Speeds up and Brake Stops the CAR. Simple!! 

1. 

   1.  Driver is Vishnu – Electron – Sattva. 

   2. Brake is Mahesh – Neutron – Tamas.

   3. Accelerator is Brahma – Proton – Rajas. 

If you have any of the above alone – you can’t drive the CAR. With any two – say with only Driver and Accelerator – CAR will not stop. With only the Driver and Brake- The car will not race!! 

You need all the THREE in the right proportions depending on the situation and the main element is DRIVER – Sattva to balance your TAMAS and RAJAS. The more you BALANCE the TAMAS and RAJAS – you have mental peace, happiness, and overall success in your life/investments and relationships. 

Where are they located? 

They are located in our BODY and MIND. They are not OUTSIDE us. They are inside us. So, those who blame others or society are not dealing with their suffering, they are increasing their suffering. 

When you make somebody responsible – it means you can’t do anything to change them. It means your suffering will not END. 

But when you follow the above SCIENCE – you have the power to deal with your sufferings instantly. 

How to use the above three forces for your holistic growth?
