Are you living  – the FUTURE of DESIRE or the FUTURE of FATE? 

 

Dear Fellow Travelers,

 

Namaste! The market moved up exactly as told on 20^th March 2023. We are seeing all the water-related issues / inner fights in some of the states of India and tons of natural calamities and other calamities around the World. Everything was told well in advance and many of you would have READ the same also. The question comes – How many of you implemented what you read? What stopped you? Even when you came to know that the market is moving up – how many of you corrected your mistake of sitting on the FENCE and watching the market? Today I am sharing two of the most powerful concepts in FUTURE MANAGEMENT.

 

Future of Desire V/s. Future of Fate: - 

 

Each of us is full of tons of desires at each moment and they keep on changing from moment to moment. We go to a restaurant and order our food and when we look at the order on the next table – we feel – we should have ordered that food instead of the one we have ordered. This is the power of DESIRE. There would be hardly any living person who is without DESIRE, except the enlightened one. 

 

Future of Desire needs that you LOVE YOURSELF deeply. We prefer to love our family – our religions – our customs – our country and so on and so forth. We call it love. We have been told that – TRUE love demands sacrifice. Under the spell of SACRIFICE, many times you would have not bought a new shirt / new shoe / new mobile for yourself but you would have bought one for your Son or Daughter or family members. We find it difficult to SAY YES to our NEEDS and WANTS. We feel guilty – if we enjoy something and that things are not available to our near and dear. 

 

When you don’t love yourself – you will naturally lack the COURAGE and GUTS to fulfill your desire. We are not simply ready to take the Risk. We prefer to live life as it unfolds. This leads to the other extreme – the FUTURE of FATE. We are creating a FUTURE of FATE by not taking RISK and not taking ACTIONS suitable for our Desire fulfillment. 

 

Those who make a MARK in life/business and investments or any other area – will take massive RISK to create the future of their desire. They are ready to risk their last shirt for their DREAMS. It is quite possible that they may not succeed. It is also possible that they may fail badly. But still, they will be living a future of their desire and not the future of fate. 

 

How does this apply in the share market?

 

In the share market – we can create a future of desire in two ways – by buying when nobody buys and by selling when nobody sells. Either way, you have a very high possibility to make tons of money without taking much risk. 

 

Normal investors are not ready to sell and buyback. They prefer to buy first and sell later. Now, they all are back to the market when the NIFTY crossed 18800. The market has moved from 18800 to 19800. They have made some money. Since the majority of the investors are active now – the return goes down and they end up earning average return or below-average returns. I call it – the FUTURE of FATE. This happens when they are not ready to take the RISK at the lower levels. 

 

Another aspect is the way we buy at all the prices and average – smart investors sell at all the prices and keep on averaging their selling price. So, when the market falls – he will make tons of money very fast. We have seen in the HARSHAD MEHTA series that the BEAR CARTEL was selling one side and they made tons of money when the SCAM broke out. The same way RAKESH was selling in 1999-2000 and when the KETAN PAREKH scam broke out he made his first billion in just one year. The point is – FUTURE OF DESIRE needs GUTS and tons of GUTS.
