Namaste! As we move up in life we lose the small things that matter the most. Ask any busy trader – he will miss the breakfast/lunch and sleep over the market excitements. Lord Vishnu took the birth of a Tortoise to allow the GOD and DEMONS to do the churning of the OCEAN. Without TORTOISE there was nothing that could have kept the Mountain MANDRACHAL afloat on the OCEAN.

Go to any SHIV temple. You will see TORTOISE first before you meet the SHIV.

What is TORTOISE for stock market success?

1.   Consistency: -

Tortoise shows consistency towards the GOAL. Buffett invested some money recently after 6 years. But he was studying the market and keeping all the office staff for all the 6 years.\

Small investors lack consistency and they see the team of consultants and traders as their expenses rather than their benefits.

2.   Nerve of Steel: -

It is said that the upper part of the Tortoise is so hard that it is difficult to kill the tortoise from the upper side.

A small investor lacks a strong mind when the market is falling or when the market is rising. He is always excited and he is always in hurry to make money or lose the money.

3.   Getting Centred: -

   When certain danger comes – the tortoise pulls his legs and face inside and becomes like an oval-shaped ball. It becomes centered. When it is centered, the danger does not go away but he is not affected by the danger. 

   When the market falls – the time is to look at the fundamental value of the shares. When you know that fundamental is strong – the Russian War or Inflation are not going to affect the value, you remain centered. Yes, prices may move down or up depending on the mood of the market.

   Buffett kind of investors only goes for Value to start with. They are always at ease. See BERKSHIRE is the very few high-value shares that are up in the USA market as of now.

4.   Ego-Less: -

In Sanskrit it is said – BAHU RATNA VASUNDHARA. It means there are tons of great people on the earth at any given moment of time. So, when somebody feels that he is at the TOP, somebody might have already reached it or somebody may be on the way to even higher levels. Your ignorance about them makes you feel that you are on the top.

Look at the billionaire's list – it keeps on changing over the years. But two persons are consistently showing in the top 10. One is Buffett and the other is Bill Gates.

You may not love them but there are very few who would HATE them. They have always maintained their humility while they are at the top.

The tortoise is a symbol of HUMILITY. It says become HUMBLE before you go inside the temple to meet your GOD. The same goes for the investors when they go to the Market.
