How to shape the DESTINY of our CHOICE in this difficult time?

Dear Fellow Travelers,

Namaste! Time is really difficult for some people thanks to COVID / Government Policies and World economic situations. As per CMIE, only 45000 new jobs were created in the last full year. It means there were lakhs of people who were without jobs and income in India during the last year.

When meeting your needs is a challenge, remaining responsible is the biggest challenge. Most people become negatively REACTIVE. To shape the destiny of your choice or fulfill your dream in a fair way is the biggest challenge.

Can destiny be managed?

Those who are fortunate not to fall in the above category and are doing well – they have a strong belief that they are getting everything as per their past life KARMA. They have split personalities when it comes to their belief. If something BAD is happening and they don’t want to take care of the same they will blame it on luck. If something good is happening – they would like to take the credit for their skill sets, intelligence, and hard work.

Most of these lots remain in the middle class as far as their thought process is concerned. They don’t progress much mentally. When they are not smart mentally, financial progress is always very far for them.

How to shape the destiny of your choice in the most difficult phase?

Whatever is your situation – read the following example and the things will be clear to you.

This is a DIALOGUE between KARNA and KRISHNA. Both have the name “K”. Before the WAR started – Krishna went to convince Karna not to support DURYODHAN. So, KARNA replied following.

Karna said to Krishna the following reasons for his support of DURYODHANA–

1.  My mother left me the moment I was born. Is it my fault I was born an illegitimate child?

2.  I did not get an education from Dhronacharya because I was considered a Non-Kshatriya.

3.  Parshuram taught me but then gave me the curse to forget everything since I was a Kshatriya.

4.  A cow was accidentally hit by my arrow & its owner cursed me for no fault of mine.

5.  I was disgraced in Draupadi's swayamvar.

6.  Even Kunti finally told me the truth only to save her other sons.

Whatever I received was through Duryodhana's charity. So how am I wrong in taking his side?

Listening to his side of the story, Krishna shared his life with Karna.

KRISHNA replied to KARNA: -

1.  Karna, I was born in jail.

2.  Death was waiting for me even before my birth.

3.  The night I was born I was separated from my birth parents.

4.  From childhood you grew up hearing the noise of swords, chariots, horses, bow,s and arrows. I got only cow herd's shed, dung, and multiple attempts on my life even before I could walk!

5.  No army, no education. I could hear people saying I am the reason for all their problems.

6.  When all of you were being appreciated for your valour by your teachers, I had not even received any education.

7.  I joined Gurukul of Rishi Sandipani only at the age of 16!

8.  You are married to a girl of your choice. I didn't get the girl I loved & rather ended up marrying those who wanted me or the ones I rescued from demons.

9.  I had to move my whole community from the banks of Yamuna to far off Seashore so as to save them from Jarasangh. I was called a coward for running away.

If Duryodhana wins the war you will get a lot of credit. But if Dharmaraja wins the war, I will get the blame for the war and all related problems.

Remember one thing Karna....

Everybody has challenges in life. LIFE IS NOT FAIR ON ANYBODY. Duryodhana also has a lot of unfairness in life and so has Yudhishthir.

But what is Right (Dharma) is known to you deep down in your heart.

No matter how much unfairness we got, how many times we were disgraced, how many times we were denied what was due to us, what is important is - How you RESPONSE at that time? Life's unfairness does not give you license to walk the wrong path of *अधर्म.*

So, what is the secret of SHAPING the DESTINY of your CHOICE?

In the moments of Decision or No Decision, your Destiny is shaped. Your situations are not shaping your Destiny. Your choices in those situations are shaping your destiny. Karna and Krishna both had a bad situation in their life but Krishna is worshipped as a GOD. Karna is remembered today only for his one good quality – a great doner.

So, don’t blame your situation for not following the right path. Make the right choice under all situations – results will change in your favour in the long run.

How about Financial Destiny?

At the end of the day all wants Money. They want to make it as FAST as possible. They believe that if they have the money – they have the power. 99% of the people will have this belief. Then how come only 20% of the people are on TOP and 80% are in middle class or poor class?

The difference comes due to their choices in spending/investing their money. Let me share some examples.

1.   Thanks to increases in prices of Silver / Gold and Diamond – Women invest in artificial jewelry. Their logic is in Rs.50000 they can have lot many artificial sets. This looks good in the short term. But in the long term – they have no value. It means your Rs.50000 has gone into the drain. Since you can’t afford the original things – it doesn’t mean that you should waste it on Artificial things. It will make much sense to pay Rs.5000 rent for a day – if at all you can’t stay without wearing that jewelry. So, you save Rs.45000.

2.   Typical Middle class has the highest expenses on educations. They feel immensely happy when their kids get educated and get well-paying jobs. Now, they spend tons of money on school fees when they are between the 1st to 12th standard. They spend on Group Tuition and Private tuition during those years.

This is the time a child is fast in adopting various skills. They make him waste all this time in so-called bookish knowledge. Now, that so-called guy can do only WHITE CALLER jobs. He is not prepared mentally to do any other jobs. Then they go into depression and things like that when a job is not available.

Normal middle class invests Rs.25 lakhs in 20 years for their kids’ normal education and this guy is not getting a job of his choice. They lost the money / mental balance and invited frustration in their life. Most of the time kid’s life starts with a compromise in the job as they are not getting the job of their choice. When their life starts with a compromise – their attitude will never be positive going forwards. They become like KARNA.

3.   Another blunder comes in terms of investing. All money earned by a typical middle class is really hard-earned money. They really struggle to meet their ends meet and if they are lucky – they have some surplus to invest after their expenses. Now they will give their money to Mutual Funds or small saving schemes or SIP. Those who are investing their money are moving in S-Class Mercedes and this fellow is traveling by Local Train or bus.

See the situations at the larger scale – you invest for your education – you sell your skills at peanuts prices to big corporations. From the salary you earn – you give your money power to the MUTUAL FUNDS.

It means RICH People who are running these companies and mutual funds will become RICHER and MIDDLE CLASS goes to poor class over a period of time.
