There are only 3 ways Money can come to you. Which is your preferred way?

Dear Fellow Travellers,

Namaskar. Many guys missed our last post on 3 levels of intelligence. It was indicating your own levels for making money. Today we are talking about the Existential way to reward you in 3 ways - How money comes to you? Read this Zen Story.

Zen Story: -

A big farmer invited Labourers in Harvesting Season. Many came in the morning. They were working very hard. But, looking at the area, it was looking impossible to get the work done. So, in the afternoon he invited some more Labourers. They also join in Harvesting. Around 4pm he invited some more so that he can finish the work by 6pm.

At 6pm the work was over and it was  time to pay the wages. The Big Farmer paid all the same wages. Now, the morning guys became angry with the Big Farmer. They said – you are paying the same wages to all while we were working from the morning, some came in the afternoon and some came just before the work was over. This is not done.

Big Farmer laughed at these guys and asked – Did you get enough for your hard work or not? They replied – you gave us more than we expected. Then Big Farmer said – I am not giving because you worked and they did not work – I am giving because I have more than I can spend and I enjoy giving. Do you have any problems? The first batch of guys could not answer this question. They went away.

This is a Zen Story and this was given to the zen students so that they can contemplate them and go deeper into their being.

Let me share from Reliance Perspective: -

Shree Dhirubhai did the real hard work to bring up the company. He took all the risk and start-up-related troubles to establish the company.  When the company was ready and profitable and everything was stabilized – Mukesh Bhai joined the game. He did partial hard work and partial smart work and bring the company to the top. Now, his kids – Akash / Anant and Isha have joined the boards.  The latest to join the party is Prithvi Akash Ambani.

These kids are getting something ready-made and without their own efforts. The seeds were planted by their Grand Father / their Father did the nurturing and added to the massive growth. At the time of the Fruits – Kids are ready.

This is the way of life for all of us. This is one perspective. Let us see this from an investment perspective.  

Investment – Positional Investments – Trading Perspective: -

An investor invests for the long term. He patiently holds the company for years and waits for the fruits. Positional Investors join the game for 1 month to 11 months' perspective. Trader joins the game at the right time and makes the profits. The market gives profit to all of them depending on their investment amount. The market is there to give us only.

The main point in the above perspective is to know where do you stand in the game with respect to timings.

These situations in overlapping in life and investments. Sometimes you are investors / sometimes you are a positional investor and many times you are just traders.

If you study the above example – it is boiling down to only one thing – Your Timings. We have to have a sense of our timings to take advantage of the opportunities. The market is like EXISTENCE. It is NEUTRAL. It doesn’t differentiate between Rakesh / Buffett or You.

How to find out your own timings?

There are an N number of ways for the same. In my experience and exploration of 30 years on various methods and theories for success and happiness – eastern and western – I have found Astrology is the best when it comes to indicating the time of a person.
