Dear Fellow Travelers,

Namaste! Wish you all a very happy Guru Nanak Jayanti. Nanak Ji is very unique personalities for the seekers on the spiritual path. He is loved and worshipped by his followers. I have used his way in my own journey and it has given me a very much success in my life. I am sharing my most loving message from GURBANI. This is the first verse of the GURU GRANTH SAHEB. This is written for the seekers of GOD. But this is applicable in all areas of life, particularly, in dealing with the Market. For me Market is God.

Sochai Soch N Hovee Jae Sochee Lakh Vaar ||
By thinking, He cannot be reduced to thought, even by thinking hundreds of thousands of times.

Chupai Chup N Hovee Jae Laae Rehaa Liv Thaar ||
By remaining silent, inner silence is not obtained, even by remaining lovingly absorbed deep within.

Bhukhiaa Bhukh N Outharee Jae Bannaa Pureeaa Bhaar ||
The hunger of the hungry is not appeased, even by piling up loads of worldly goods.

Sehas Siaanapaa Lakh Hohi Th Eik N Chalai Naal ||
Hundreds of thousands of clever tricks, but not even one of them will go along with you in the end.

Kiv Sachiaaraa Hoeeai Kiv Koorrai Thuttai Paal ||
So how can you become truthful? And how can the veil of illusion be torn away?

Hukam Rajaaee Chalanaa Naanak Likhiaa Naal ||1||
O Nanak, it is written that you shall obey the Hukam of His Command, and walk in the Way of His Will. ||1||

Our Western Mind and Nanak’s Concept: -

We are educated with Western Methods and Western Concepts. We have been taught about Management by Objective. It has the following steps – planning – organizing – executing – reviewing – control and things like that. The normal person will not be ready to work till they go through all the above-mentioned steps.

When I deal with my readers and clients – they want to know the REASONS for the market going up or going down. They want to know about the Fundamentals and Technical aspects of the company or market. They believe that by knowing the reasons – they can take a 100% profitable decision. 

In every area of their life – they go logical and practical. They believe that if they are not logical or practical – opposite guys may take them for a ride.

So, when you hear NANAK – he says – by thinking you can’t know the truth of God(market). This is a very BOLD statement of NANAK Ji. When I gave the call for 12400 plus Nifty on 2^nd May 2020, I had got many questions of WHY??? What is my LOGIC? When I gave the Call of “V” Shape recovery in Economy and Market way back in December 2019, there was no fear of FALL. All were Bullish. In March, FIIs sold Rs.65000 Crs Stocks and Nifty made 7500 or so. In November FIIs bought Rs.65000 Crs worth of stocks and Nifty made 13000. Market made perfect “V” Shape. Now the economy is also making a “V” shape.

Now, if you are a lover of LOGIC – tell me the answer to why this happened? If at all your answers are right – will you be able to make money NOW? Because the event is already over. There is no use in knowing now why they sold in march and why they bought in November.  The fun would have been if you had known this in February and in May when we told you about Market.

Some more optimistic and a die-hard fan of logic will say – if we know the reasons for the past events – we can apply in the future. Say my grandfather died of HEART ATTACK – will I also die from HEART ATTACK? The fact is I am going to die someday for sure. But can you say out of heart attack only?

Same way– the market will fall again but the reasons will be different. The market will rise again but the reasons will be different. If you go on thinking about all possibilities – you will have tons of reasons and you will be known as good MEDIA Analyst but you will not be sitting next to RAKESH or BUFFETT.

So, Nanak Says – “By thinking, He cannot be reduced to thought, even by thinking hundreds of thousands of times.”

What is a way to overcome this?

In the last sentence – he says – “O Nanak, it is written that you shall obey the Hukam of His Command, and walk in the Way of His Will.”

Just leave everything to him and live your life. Good or Bad events are his own creation. You are just a follower. Nanak says by surrendering to the wills of GOD – you will get him.

We have known this surrendering by another name also. That famous name is BHAGYA – LUCK. Whatever good or bad is happening is happening due to BHAGYA. You are not the doer. Bhagya is the doer.

Now, if you talk about BHAGYA – my MBA friends will laugh. So, the new word I use is TOTAL ACCEPTABILITY. When you have total acceptability towards all the events in your life and market – you will have peace of mind. When you have peace of mind – your happiness will be with you under all the circumstances.

What happens when you have the inner peace of mind?

Existence / Market is pure Silence. When you have peace of mind – you have an inner silence. When your inner silence matches with the silence of the market – you get an accurate indication of market movement ahead of time.

Now, if you try to be silent as a strategy – you will never be able to be. Knowing that you will try – Nanak has said the same in 2^nd line. You will have to surrender first then only – you will be silent from within.

Most of my calls are coming from my inner silence. I don’t try to predict the market or events. I just go with the inner flow. This is the secret of my accuracy and this is the blessings of my GURU.
