Every CRIMINAL leave some or the other clues, what about Successful Traders / Investors?

Greetings from Hitesh! Most people and most normal investors have following feelings when they deal with the market and life in general.

laa.ī hayāt aa.e qazā le chalī chale

apnī ḳhushī na aa.e na apnī ḳhushī chale

It means (HAYAT) LIFE brought us to this world and (QAZA)DEATH took us out of this world. Neither we were borne at our will not we died at our will.

Most investors have these feelings at this moment – they did not make money in 2017, when overall market was in TEJI, but they lost money in 2018, when INDEX was at the top.

The main issue of the mankind is with DOING things at WILL. Nothing gives more satisfaction then ability of doing things at our own will, not even success or failures.

Today we are going to talk about how to have the ABILITY of DOING THINGS at our own WILL.  Let us look at the master example of CRIMINOLOGY.

BASIS of CIRIMINOLOGY: -

They say that each CRIMNAL leaves some or the other clue. CID has just to find out those CLUES – one after the other and they will reach to the CRIMINAL in due course.

The same thing is applicable to the SUCCESSFUL people. They are leaving some or the other clues by becoming successful in their areas. All you have to do is to find out those clues, study them and follow them and you will also be successful at your WILL.

Why normal investors fail?

When NORMAL guys fail in market, he blames either of the following – MARKET (SITUATIONS), BROKER who gave TIP, LUCK, LACK of FUNDs. Very rarely a guy will blame HIMSELF for the failure. But when he succeeds, he gives full credit to himself or his smartness or his timely actions. Very rarely, a guy will give credit to the market moves, which is the reason for success 90% of the time.

How successful guys operate?

Now let us see what successful guys do. Let us study their clues. There is a famous quote of SWAMI VIVEKANAND – ARISE, AWAKE and STOP NOT, TILL GOALS ARE REACHED.

Most successful guys follow the above. Let me share an example of the guy who started KFC - Kentucky Fried Chicken, COLONEL SANDERS. This guy started at the age 65!! Now, 99 % of the guys would talk about retirement and living life in peace at this age. But COLONEL SANDERS was different.

He got a pension cheque of USD 90 something and he said this is not what I deserve. He wanted to do something. He did not have MONEY / AGE at his side. So, he decided to sell his CHICKEN RECIEPE for a percentage of PROFIT.

He met 1008 guys who were running RESTAURANT, and nobody would agree to buy his formula. This took him 2 years to meet them all. He was travelling in a CAR from TOWN to TOWN, wearing his old suit. After 1008 guys, he got 1009^th guy who agreed to his terms.

In my 25 years of experience in market, I have observed that most investors do not fail because of MARKET or other reasons. They fail because they are not ready to take actions on consistent basis.

All investors have goal to make money when they come to MARKET, but when they get LOSS in the first place, they changed the GOAL or FORGET the GOAL rather than changing the APPROACH to the GOAL.

What are the CLUES of COLNEL SANDERS STORY?

1.  At age 65, he had no income and no SONS/DAUGHTERS to fall back to. So, for him earning money was the only WAY LEFT. This was the most powerful LEVERGAGE for his success.

Most NORMAL investors, who come to the market, have other sources of income and they come to the market to TRY or LET US SEE kind of ATTITUDE. For them market success is not the questions of LIFE and DEATH.

2.  He listened NO for 1008 times before 1009^th guy said yes.

NORMAL guys are not ready to TAKE NO (losses in market) even for 10 times in a row (Despite having other sources of income like SALARY or BUSINESS INCOME).

3.  He travelled in his old CAR and his OLD SUIT for 2 years from town to town. He was sleeping in the CAR, as he did not have money for staying in a HOTEL/MOTEL. He took MASSIVE PAIN.

Most NORMAL guys are not READY to take the MASSIVE PAIN of journey towards SUCCESS. They want MIRACLES.

4.  He did not have MONEY to buy food also. All he was doing was using RESTAURANT CHIKEN for the DEMO of his RECEIPE. Most of the time, this chicken was his food.  

Many times, investors complain that they don’t have enough money to invest. This only means that they are not ready to think out of the box to generate money for investments.

What NEXT?

Behind every major success there is a POWERFUL LEVERAGE and MASSIVE PAIN. LEVERAGE can be situations (USD 90 pension at age 65) / people in your life (death of loved ones or ditching by loved ones) / EGO HURT (TATA who started TAJ hotel after insult by ENGLISH GUYS) or GOAL to make tons of money.

Massive pains can be in terms of initial losses or heavy losses/ paying for learning / taking consistent action despite no positive results in short terms.
