Make Woman A MOTHER and You Become FATHER Automatically!!

Greetings from Hitesh! I am dealing with many young guys and they often ask me questions related to investment success. All they want is some sure shot RECIPE. I have come a long way in this journey, so, recently when a young man asked me a SECRET of investment Success – I quickly replied above. From Buffett to Rakesh – all are following this. Let me deal with this in THREE stages.

1.   Pre-Pregnancy Period:-

You both JUST enjoy the Process/togetherness. Here – you have “more you do, merrier you are kind of attitude”. You just find our time to do. It’s a pure passion phenomenon.

Whether NORMAL or SEASONED investors – all have to pass through this process. They all do it depending on their capacity (physical and/or financial)!! Warren selected 200 companies. Rakesh selected 30 something.

2.  Pregnancy Period:-

When you come to know about the PREGNANCY – your attitude changes from only PASSION to CARE. You try to take care of your WIFE more and more. You take her to DOCTORS / arrange for VITAMINS and what not. You also allow her to go to HER PARENTS place so she gets more REST during last days of PREGNANCY!!

This is the stage where NORMAL and SEASONED guys gets diverted.

Seasoned guys – when come to know about PREGNANCY – do the following. When they see the company is about to take off – they take following steps.

a.   They visit the company people more often and keep themselves updates with the company’s progress ( akin to taking your WIFE to a doctor)

b.   They keep on ADDING this company’s share more and more – akin to arranging more and more nutritious food and good reading material for the wife. Most normal guys gets frustrated with the WIFE at this juncture as they can not do it much now….in share market they SELL their shares at little profit!!

c.    They send their wife to her parents place for REST:- They can sleep over their companies once their buying is done. This is detaching you from the company.

d.   This is the most important stage as the atmosphere in your house/your comfort level with your wife / generally happy family – will help you get the HEALTHY CHILD.  Most Normal guys when they are about to hit the JACKPOT - they fail to control their GREED and become impatient. So, they fail to get the full benefits.

I have seen that Warren has about 15 companies – which he kept on ADDING out of 200 something and RAKESH kept on adding in 4 companies out of 30 something. CHARLES DARVIN calls this SURVIVAL of the FITTEST!! You need to ADD / ADD and only ADD once you have spotted good companies. Nothing ELSE.

3. Post Pregnancy:-

You are a FATHER NOW. All your Efforts have paid you RICH dividends. Now the responsibility has come to NURTURE the CHILD. You plan for his education to his marriage and career. Am I right?

Once company has started performing well and you have added as much as you can – your responsibility is to see that you HOLD it.

The way we educate our CHILD – big investors when they find that Company’s MANAGEMENT is making mistakes – they bring to their notice and make a contribution in COMPANY’s progress. They become the DIRECTOR in those companies or keep their own person to monitor the progress of the company. In short, they look after the company!!

Small guys will sell their BLUE CHIPS for their RETIREMENT / MARRIAGE of their DAUGHTER or CARRER settlement of their SON. This makes the WHOLE difference.

What NEXT?

The way NORMAL guys change their portfolio – they keep on changing their consultants. They are always in look out for better consultant or better investment ideas.
