Namaste! The common link between the USA / India / Brazil / South Africa / Italy / Britain / Germany / Pakistan / Indonesia / Bangladesh / Mexico and tons of other countries is that they all are going for the elections in 2024. Many are fully democratic/many are Authoritarian/many are Hybrid countries. Depending on the nature of the power system – the elections are going to affect the respective countries’ economies/people and markets. 

 

India: - India will have parliament elections plus state elections in Andra Pradesh / Maharashtra / Odisha / Arunachal Pradesh / Sikkim / Haryana / Jharkhand and Jammu and Kashmir. 

 

Goals of Politicians: - 

 

One line goal of all the politicians is to gain the power. The person who is in power would like to retain the power and the person who is in the opposition would like to come to the power at any cost. 

 

The Actions: - 

 

The present government will come out with last-minute steps that can convince the people to vote for them again and the opposition will try to create the issues with the steps and overall performance of the present government. This will create the ANARCHY / DISORDERS and MISHAPS in all the countries. Many will see riots / communal fighting and man-made negative events like that. 

 

What it mean for the SHARE MARKET? 

 

The BIGGEST economy of the world - the USA will be the guiding force for the stock market in the World in 2024. They will surely reduce the rates in the coming year and this will release tons of funds for equities. 

 

Another major share market is India where the FIIS is focusing. CHINA is also there but it’s on the sidelines due to their domestic issues. 

 

Modi ji will come out with the steps in the BUDGET and other policy decisions which will help them to retain the power and that will help the market in a big way. 

 

Overall the ruling parties in respective countries will manage the negative events of the opposition with strictness and that will help the respective economy to remain stable to positive. When the economies are stable to positive – share markets are likely be positive to stable. 

 

What are the opportunities for the Investors?

 

50% of the World is going for elections. This alone will add LIQUIDITY to the markets like anything. Just to share an example of India – Modi ji had said in the recent election that they are giving good to 80 Cr Indian free of cost. There will be tons of such measures that give CASH to the grassroots persons and they will spend. 

 

This will fuel the growth of the economy in the rural areas along with the urban areas. 

 

All the asset classes will move up. Since I deal in Equities in the USA / India / Bullions and CRYPTOS – I see that all four will see upward movements. 

 

Those who are not investing, those who are not investing fully, or those who are still skeptic about the market – must take a plunge with the help of their personal investment consultant and make tons of money. Overall, the market will be positive.
