Greetings from Hitesh! Our last post on Market gave a FRESH view to the readers and they have appreciated our way of seeing things. Today we are looking at about two questions.

Why this KOLAVERI D?

Kolaveri D is the famous song of DHANUSH.  The meaning of his word is – Why are you killing me? Looking at the losses most investors have gone into the state of asking this question. Most normal guys have a tendency to think about WHY.

Why index is moving one side up and my shares are not moving up? Why company share prices are going down in spite of good results? Why company share prices are moving up in spite of bad results? Why Govt is not punishing the cheat management? Why share price moves up after my selling? Why share price goes down after my purchase? Why I am only suffering losses and all others are making a profit? There can be many such why in personal life also.

If you use little common sense – WHY does not change your PRESENT position with respect to the event which has already happened? Say a person has already gone through DIVORCE – if he or she asks WHY and gets answers also, how this will change his/her DIVORCEE status? One may say – he can learn from this and save his next marriage by not repeating those mistakes? Another aspect may be his analyses be helpful to the would-be BRIDE and GROOMS in his circle.

The fact of life and market is – they change the question paper, once you are confident that you know the answers. Most people know this fact but still, they ask WHY. They want to satisfy their Intellectual Khujali. It may save them from a GUILT feeling of failure. Nothing more.

The better Question is – How I can multiply my money to 5X by 2024?

This question gives you a target/challenge and talks about the future. When you talk about the future – you have the power to do something. Your focus is shifted to something productive / something positive. You will feel energized within and roaring to go towards your goal.

If you have set goals, does not mean all good things will fall upon your way. Market and share prices will follow the same pattern as they were happening in the past or in present. But since you are FUTURE focused, you will not waste time in the PAST (WHY). This will save your energy like anything. This will save you from DOUBT and when you are free from DOUBT, you are ready to deal with any uncertainty in life and market.

What happens when you ask this question now?

The current market is INVESTOR’s Paradise. Those who want to do VALUE INVESTING – this is the time. You are getting many shares at a dip discount to its value. These shares are giving you MARGIN OF SAFETY when you pick up now.

At this moment your WHY questions will stop you from going ahead and grab the opportunities. It will make you SAD and GUILTY. By being SAD or GUILTY – whatever has happened is not going to change.

How can I – the question will motivate you to go ahead and enjoy the present and prepare from the future.
