What will happen to Market, if MODI losses on 23rd May?

Dear Fellow Travellers,

Greetings from Hitesh! After the 5th round of the election, MEDIA is predicting MODI may not get the majority / Modi will have to take the support of another parties/ Chidambaram said – who becomes the prime minister is immaterial as long as MODI does not become the PM. Even BJP guy – RAM MADHAVAN also spoke of taking support? Let me share my views.

I am sure those who have not read my post in the recent past will read this post for sure.

The Main Question is – Where to focus on while investing?

Should you focus on – Who will become PM? / Who wins the election? / What will be the market next week? What will be the market next month? What will be the market Next Year? What will be the movement in the SENSEX or NIFTY based on such events or in normal circumstances? How world events will affect the market? Will Trump win the next term? What will be inflation? What will be the GDP growth?

Most normal guys will spend hours discussing the above questions as if they have to invest Billions or they have an investment of billions. These guys have a lot of time and nothing worthwhile to do. They are wasting their time and resources on the issues which are beyond their control.

Where do the BILLIONAIRE INVESTORS focus while investing?

From the day one Buffett is sharing that he focuses on Businesses he understands and management he can trust. He is the smartest of the investor having 70 plus years of experience in the world today. He focuses on the things he can understand and predict with relative accuracy. From the last few decades, he started taking controlling stakes or major stakes, so that he has the say in the company management.

Does he know that business is going to make money for him and not PM or GOVERNMENT? If a business is not going to run and earn in future, PM or no PM will not make much difference to his balance sheet. What’s more – this kind of issues are sentimental in nature and they do not affect the core business in the long run.

What will happen if Modi does not win?

I always prepare my followers way ahead of the time. Way back in January 2017, when there was no election – exactly 2 years and 4 months back – there were videos going on – MODI NAHI To AUR KAUN?

If you have not read – I suggest you must read. It was the most read blog in January 2017. I have given a lot of clarity at that time only.

What about my prediction that MODI will become PM again given in Dec. 2018?

I still maintain that MODI will become PM. Now, the questions come – which one to follow – Modi will become PM or Modi will not become PM?

Stop for a moment. Look within. You will find that you are also not concerned with MODI winning or not winning. You want a surety. Some outside support for your conclusion. Some Consolation in case you go wrong. You want continuity. You don’t want to break your head over the next guy and adjust to his policies.

Why I am talking on both sides? I am challenging normal guys sure shot mentality. There is nothing sure shot except DEATH and TAXES for us. As far as investments are concerned – I follow – you should be ready with your plan B/C/D to Z. What will you do if your expected outcome does not happen?

You don’t have to change your goal of wealth creation or money-making. You have to find out new ways to achieve your goals under new circumstances. You have to live your life and meet your expenses – so this can’t be left to MARKET or MODI. You must be ready with your options at any given point of time. Those who are not ready or does not want to think about those options – will end up blaming their luck.

What was the purpose of this post?

To teach you - where to focus while investing and have multiple options in case you go wrong in your best expectations.

Hope you enjoyed reading the same.
