You will relax only and only when you talk to them and when you are assured that they are safe. Am I right? Will you READ any other NEWS ITEM NOW? I am sure you will not.

BUFFETT / RAKESH are also HUMAN beings. When things go wrong with them – they also get panic. Their BP also shoots up. Knowing this can happen with them - they play the GAME in a 100% different way then NORMAL guys. So, when ACCIDENT TAKES PLACE (READ - market goes down) – which will keep on happening – they just keep on sipping their TEA or DIET COKE.

What is the BASIC BUFFETT MODEL?

He buys the controlling stake in the company. He makes the necessary changes in the productive capacities of the company and makes the company earn good profit from the year one. The same profit is taken out as dividend or invested in other company. Like that he had kept on multiplying his portfolio and he owns 60 plus businesses in USA.

If you understand his model – he is not investing his own money. He is generating profit and investing that profit in other company and he kept on doing like this for his life.

What is RAKESH MODEL?

He started as a TRADER. He made a big money by shorting K 10 stocks in 1999-2000. Unofficial report says he made close to Rs.4000 Crs in that period. It was USD 1 billion in those days. He invested all the money in BLUE CHIPS or Potential BLUE CHIPS and he is Rs.15000 Crs person today!!

Common factor here also is investing profit and not the capital!!

What HAPPENS when you invest your profit?

When profit is invested – RAKESH can wait for 7 years and BUFFETT can talk about lifetime investing. If you look at RAKESH portfolio just 4 companies have performed out of 40 something. He is not worried about the other 36 because – they all are good companies. They will move up some DAY. The main point here is – He knows this is PROFIT MONEY. So, why not hold little more?

Strategy for LONG TERM investments:-

Most normal guys does this strategy in a CRUDE way – say they buy 1000 shares and when the price goes up by 100% they sell 500 shares – recovering capital. Now they will hold the BALANCE 500 for long term. This is very CRUDE WAY and you can’t make MILLIONS in this strategy. We have a better option.
