Will You Appoint This Kind of Honest Watchman For Your Dream Bungalow?

Greetings from Hitesh! I received lots of mails for my last article “There Is a Scam Brewing Up In The Market, Do You Know?” I thank each one of you for showering words of appreciation for it. We love Honesty, isn’t it?  So, when we come across an honest man, we all appreciate, aren’t we? Read this story and decide about it.

Appointing a Watchman:-

A friend of mine constructed a beautiful bungalow and he wanted to appoint a watchman. So, he called some guys for interviews. He liked one of them and asked him to join with an immediate effect. The guy said, I am ready to join. But I have a condition. “What?” my friend asked.

“You are appointing me as a watchman for your bungalow, but I will do my duty from the front side. I will be responsible for any theft, if it happens from the front side. I will not be responsible for the theft, if it happens from the back side of your bungalow!!”

Luckily, my friend did not have a Gun at that point of time.  

I know, you also feel the same, when somebody talks like this!!

What about your own watchman?

You have been blessed with a most unique and most beautiful construction of a Nature....your Body. Nature appointed Your Mind as a watchman for the same. Like watchman of bungalow, your Mind is supposed to look after the total well being of your Body, am I right? 

When you started your career, you concentrated on it with an idea that you will enjoy the life someday in future. Now, you are successful in your career. How much time you have for LIFE? Don’t you feel that your mind has become One Track, like our watchman, with an obsession of getting more and more money, more and more success, more and more power!!

My friend was ready to kill the watchman for his Honesty, are you ready to kill your mind for its obsessions???

What happens, when you go to Market with this Mind?

One track mind is the most dangerous in the most dynamic and multi-dimensional market. You seek only Profit and not the Loss / you watch only Price and not the Value / you appreciate Birth and not the Death / you enjoy health and not the illness / you seek pleasures and not the pains!! This way you can add as many as you want.

Life and investments are sum total of all of the above and more. If you have strong sense of divisions like our watchman, you will live your life half heatedly. You will miss the fun of being total and wholesome.

How to get Investment Success by seeing things in Totality?

If you are investing in stocks……you must be aware of Balance Sheet. Am I right? It has two sides….Assets and Liabilities…..any changes in assets will lead to equal and immediate change in liabilities and vice versa.

When you see this in deep……you will realize that life and investments are “Zero Sum Games”. Ultimately, there is nothing to gain and nothing to lose. Whatever you have got here, you will leave hear and go.

This realization will be the most painful for your mind to accept. It will start looking beyond profit and loss, success and failures, greed and fear. You will transcend all dualities of life.

When you come out of dualities, your focus will be in the Investment process. Your focus will be on LIFE. Investment process will give you the much needed orgasm – here and now. Being associated with those investments will give you most happy feeling. Your happiness will not be dependent on the profit or dividend or bonus. Doing Investment will become your biggest reward!!

Just think in totality and nobody can stop you from being a successful investor.
