Common Thread between Mobile Games, Investment Attitude and Life Style

Please accept Seasons Love Greetings. Before you tell “Be My Valentine” to someone Special, may you become LOVE your self!!

On my journey to better life and better investments…I have come across above subjects and I am going to deal with them today.

Mobile Games:-

From a simple Snake game in Nokia to Temple Run in recent times, we have come a long way in mobile gaming in last 10 years.

The bottom line in all the games are that snake / car / person / monster has to keep on chasing new levels……if you stop…you are dead. Game is over. There is no time to enjoy achievements!!

How Does This Reflect the Social Behaviour?

Society has become addicted to Excitement rather than Happiness. Something is cool, only if it excites you. Persons keep on running for New Style, New Gadgets, New Jobs, New Partners in search of Excitements. Their belief….more excitement is equal to more happiness!!

How does this affect the Investment Behaviour?

Market should be continuously moving up!! If it is not moving up, remain in range bound or if there is no volume, our media analysts tells you that it’s Lousy Market. They think there is something wrong with the market!!

In fact, this is the buying time for smartest of the investors. I still remember Mr.Imran Khan used to wear a T-Shirt with a TAG Line…“Big Guys Play at Night”. He might be referring to some other play, but for me investment is the play and market is the play ground.

Now, let us look at the life style.

A marriage, a study, a job, a business or an investment is started with a reported aim of happiness. However, happiness is lost when there is no excitement.

How Do Most Successful Investors Invest?

Successful investors know their odds of success in a given investments. They have already visualized the end results. They have also got the plans, if their calculation fails.

They do not have any excitement for the results. They just have calculations. They just keep on monitoring the performance of business on periodic basis (and not the price!!)

90% of our investors consider the success and failure in investments based on the price movements and not based on the performance of the business!! In fact, they invest only because price will move up shortly!! They do not care for the business performance.  

10% knows that if the business performance improves…..price will surely follow. They hold on to their investments till the performance is improving or remains steady.

This is the reason that 10% have all the money and 90% have all the excitement.

My Personal Call:-

Drop the idea of becoming someone, because you are already a masterpiece. You cannot be improved. You have only to come to it, to know it, to realize it. God himself has created you; you cannot be improved.

Stop Chasing. Experience The Joy Of Being Unique. When you notice that you are unique, you will be out of 90% group. You will create a possibility to join the 10% group.
