Mr.Kejrival V/s. Aam Investors

Greetings from Hitesh! I am happy with the responses to my last email…..Where is Your Tenth Friend? Most guys liked that. They all want to become number 1. Nobody liked the idea of being slapped or to be counted last!!

Let me ask you a question….You want to become number 1, because you  feel that you have reasons to be number 1 or  it is just that you have been told….if you are number 1 in any field…you are the best?

Now, let me deal with Mr.Kejrival’s way of working.

True to the name of his party….Aam Aadmi Party….he goes to the Aam Aadmi for solutions and approvals everytime he faces some challenge. It may please Aam Aadmi or it may be his winning strategy. I have my own reasons for being apprehensive about this attitude. Let me deal with them.

Struggle for Basic Needs:-

Aam Aadmi is struggling to meet two ends for his basic needs of Food, Clothing and Shelter. All his focus is on meeting them with the least amount of struggle. A person so focused on the Aam Needs….can not be creative while giving you the suggestions to solve the comprehensive problems. In fact, his suggestions will be focused on solving his needs!!

Need for Approval:-

Aam Aadmi has chosen Mr.Kejrival as a leader….assuming he will solve their problems….but every time he goes back to them for their approval to solve his governance issue!! He may become effective politician by doing so but can he become an effective leader?

Now let us see the similarities of our Aam Investors with Mr.Kejrival?

Lack of Creativity:-

Aam investor starts a life with an aim of good education. His logic is simple…..good education leads to good job and good job leads to comfortable retirement. He does all these things….just to leave last 10-20 years of life peacefully!! If a person kills other person….he is called Killer / Criminal….but if you live your life as above….it is known as SACRIFICE for Family!! Life has given 60-100 years to live and not the last 10-20 years!!

Moreover, with the kind of tension you live….there is a surety that you will have health issues in your last years. All you do is to waste the gift called life.

They have followed this formula for centuries together….and they are not ready to think creatively on this.

This is the main reason that world is not having more of Mahatma Gandhiji / Dhirubhai Ambani / Steve Jobs / Sachin Tendulkar or  Warren Buffett.

If you do what you have always done…you will get what you have always got!!

Looking for Approval:-

Before investing, Aam Investor wants approval of Spouse / Brother in Law / Office Friend / Broker / Media. His logic is simple….if everybody approves the idea…..he must invest!! In a way this is his way of taking insurance against failure….if he fails…he will not share the total blame…he can say… “I asked you before investing!!”

As said above….he is so busy with his routine life…he has no time to think. So, get the approval and do it.

Recipe for Successful Investment:-

We follow the master…..he says….. “We invest if our reasoning says so….we don’t wait for the market approval. We are not right because market agrees with us and we are not wrong because market disagrees with us.”

Great leaders also do what their heart and their reasoning says….they do not bother public every time.

My Personal Call:-

As a Mr. XYZ…this is your only life!! You will not get this life again. Same way…you will not get investment opportunities of 2014 again. So, live each and every moment of your life the way you want to live and grab all the investment opportunities 2014 is giving you.
