Dear All,

Diwali Wishes & Your Investments Performance

Greetings from Hitesh ! Our article “Top 10 Investment Picks For This DiwaliFollow & Mint Money Year After Year” got  highest ever hits yesterday. I am really happy for your support and hope you would invest in 10 ideas, I shared with you. Now, let me come back to the above captioned topic.

Be it Diwali, Birthday or Any other auspicious occasion, we all love to wish good to our near and dear. In fact, most of us are busy sending and receiving lots of Emails / What’s App Msgs / Face book  and SMS wishing - Happy Diwali and Prosperous New Year.

Wishes In Digital Age:-

Wishing Good is a social custom. It starts with every day - “Good Morning”,“Good Day”, “Good Night” to “Happy Birthday”, “Best Of luck”, “May God Bless You”, etc. When it comes to wishing good, we are very generous and casual.

1. Impersonal:- You do not see the person. You just send to all. Many times msgs are forwarded – without changing the name at the bottom! How many times do you ask yourself….do I really wish him Good? Or its just a Ritual?

2. No Follow Up:-  How many times we check with the person to inquire how was his day / year after we wished him? Answer would bring your attentions to the casualness of your wishes.

3. No Control:- When you deal with 100 msgs at a given point of time…..and on various plat forms like SMS / What’s App / Email / Face Book….it is natural to lose the control on what you get and what you send.

End Result:- You end up spending your precious time on these activities……and when you get up…you do not have anything to feel/ you are as empty as you were before wishing somebody. In fact, if God forbid any trouble comes to you, how many of your contacts will stand by you?

Your Investments:-

Our shares are traded in DEMAT form….so we have lost personal touch there.

With the advent of new technology…people have started trading online on laptop / computer or through Mobile Applications. They remain in touch or in front of the market all the time. Due to this they lose focus of their original purpose of investments and control.

End Results:-

Our casual nature has gone so much deep in us that we are doing everything very casual including – investments!! For us investing is very easy – get a tip, press a button of your laptop or call a broker, buy a stock, hold it and wish that it moves fast so that you can sell after a minute, after an hour or after a day.

One day you realize that you have lost all your capital or your return is not worth the time you spent on it!!

In both the above incidences…. one spends lot of time and money without any concrete results.

What Next?

It’s your life / your time and your money. You are free to spend the way you think fit.

Live With Passion, Invest Wish Passion.
